After returning from the battlefield, to develop his family's economy, Mr. An researched and consulted economic development models and in 2012, fate brought him to the honey beekeeping model.
In fact, consumer demand for royal jelly is very large because it has many good uses for the body.

After a long time of thinking, Mr. An decided to research and produce royal jelly in his locality.
“I call it research because bees have a hard time adapting to the weather conditions in the Central region. When it’s too hot, we have to take it on a “vacation”, but when it’s cold, we just need to keep it warm enough,” Mr. An shared.
In addition, he makes fake queen caps to catch young queen bees in them. At this time, the fake queen caps will be filled with milk to feed the queen bee larvae inside. At the right time, he will take them out to collect the royal jelly.
To be able to raise royal jelly, beekeepers need to understand the habits and activities of bees. Each hive can remove 2-3 false caps to collect royal jelly, depending on the number of bees.
Currently, Mr. An's family has a total of 60 bee colonies, of which 10 are raised specifically for royal jelly. Each year, his family harvests about 7 liters of royal jelly; plus 50 regular bee colonies, he collects about 200 liters of honey.
Income from bees, especially royal jelly, brings his family about 250 million VND per year. Mr. An said: “I once watched TV and saw news about the authorities seizing tons of fake royal jelly imported from China.
Because the demand for royal jelly is so high, people import such large quantities of fake royal jelly. From then on, I tried to produce royal jelly right in my locality so that our people no longer have to use fake royal jelly."

In the near future, Mr. An plans to develop his queen bee colony for milk production; at the same time, he is willing to pass on his valuable experiences to farmers who want to learn, in order to replicate the model locally.
