Leading us around the village to see the spacious concrete roads that meet new rural standards, and visit the airy and clean kindergarten cluster, Tung Huong village Party Secretary La Quang Dao excitedly said: Actually, there is no great secret, it all depends on promoting the strength of "the Party's will and the people's heart". Uncle Ho said, "if it is difficult, the people can do it."

Imbued with that, the resolutions issued by the Party cell are closely following the practical situation of the base, for the benefit of the people and the community, so they are agreed and supported by the people. There is even a household like Mr. Vi Van Phung who voluntarily contributed 400m²land, and many trees to build a kindergarten cluster for children in the village...

The entire Tung Huong village has 169 households and 770 people of the Thai, Tai Poong, Dan Lai and Kinh ethnic groups living together. The Party cell has 28 members and always plays the role of the center of solidarity in the village. Remembering President Ho Chi Minh's advice: "The Party cell is the foundation of the Party, if the Party cell is good, everything will be good", in recent years, the Tung Huong village Party cell has always focused on developing local Party members.

While other Party cells face many difficulties in terms of resources, some Party cells are at risk of "going pale" because they have not recruited Party members for many years, Tung Huong Party Cell recruits an average of 3-4 Party members each year, mainly young people, demobilized soldiers, and members of mass organizations. Thanks to that, the young force in the cell accounts for 70%, basically overcoming the situation of "old bamboo but young shoots have not yet grown" in Party cells in special areas today.

Discussing experiences in party development work, Tung Huong village Party Cell Secretary La Quang Dao - an ethnic minority Party member with 20 years of Party membership expressed: The Party Cell's viewpoint is not to passively wait for resources but to proactively seek resources for training and education. Each Party member in the Party Cell is responsible for discovering, training, and introducing resources, first of all, motivating and educating children and family members to join the Party. There are families with 2-3 people who are Party members, such as Mr. Vi Van Hoang's family, whose father, wife, daughter, and son-in-law are all Party members, and Mr. La Quang Dao's son La Van Man is a Party member and also the Youth Union cell secretary.

When joining the Party, Party members in the Party Cell are assigned specific tasks such as Secretary of the Youth Union, team leader of 5 production teams, village chief, deputy head of mass organizations, etc. so that they themselves feel that joining the Party is not only an honor but also requires them to be more responsible than others.

To improve the quality, fighting strength and "core" role of the village Party cell, the Party Committee of Tung Huong village always maintains a regular meeting schedule once a month and gradually improves the quality of Party cell activities.

There are also extended meetings of the Party cell, inviting prestigious people in the community, hamlet executive committee, heads of mass organizations to participate, exchange information, and discuss ways to solve outstanding and urgent problems of the people in the village. The advantage is that the village chief Lo Minh Truong is also a Party member, so the exchange of information and agreement on policies are always implemented quickly and promptly.

The content of Party cell activities is also carefully prepared and gradually innovated, but still adheres to the resolutions, programs, and plans of superiors and is based on the socio-economic development tasks of the locality...

From there, specific and practical programs and plans of the Party cell were proposed. As in the issue of striving to build a cultural village, from the resolution issued by the Party cell, Party members have set an example in implementing and propagating, mobilizing people to build cultural families, perfecting the criteria of the cultural village, including preserving, promoting and conserving the cultural beauty of ethnic minorities.

As a result, 80% of households in the village were recognized as cultural families and on April 16, 2017, Tung Huong village was honored to receive a certificate of recognition as a cultural village. This is the achievement of the entire people, but it cannot be denied that the leadership and direction of the Party cell and the Party Committee always "match words with actions".

Not only taking care of the spiritual life of the people, Tung Huong village Party Cell also demonstrates comprehensive leadership role through programs and plans to ensure security and order in the area, promote production, develop the economy, and reduce poverty.

In addition to expanding the rice area to 7 hectares, the Party cell encouraged the villagers to promote cattle and buffalo raising, goat raising, acacia planting, and met planting... in which cadres and Party members are exemplary pioneers. Typical examples include Party member Vi Van Nhan with a model of raising 15 cattle and buffalo, Party member La Quang Dao with a model of raising more than a dozen goats, planting 2 hectares of met and developing a fruit farm with more than 100 orange and apple trees...
