Launching a contest to learn about traffic safety laws and provide and use information on the internet
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 1, at Nguyen Xuan On High School (Dien Chau district), the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized the launching ceremony of the contest "Learning about traffic safety laws and providing and using information on the internet" on the Nghe An province electronic information portal in 2018.
Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Traffic Safety Committee of Nghe An province, Head of the contest organizing committee; representatives of leaders of departments and branches in the province and Dien Chau district; Principals of high schools in the area and a large number of students.

The contest "Learning about traffic safety laws and providing and using information on the internet" online on Nghe An province's electronic information portal in 2018 aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of traffic safety education; awareness and self-consciousness of complying with the law on traffic safety and order and legal regulations on management, provision and use of information on the internet and social networks for local people, especially students.
The contest will take place over 4 weeks, from 8:00 a.m. on October 1, 2018 to 8:00 a.m. on October 29, 2018. The mandatory participants are all high school students, teachers, university, college, intermediate and vocational students in the province. The encouraged participants are all Vietnamese citizens, foreigners studying, living and working in the area (except for members of the organizing committee).

The exam format is multiple choice on the Provincial Electronic Information Portal (www.nghean.gov.vn). The results will be finalized once a week. When participating, candidates must fill in the information required by the organizers completely and accurately. Candidates can participate multiple times, without limit. Each time a candidate logs in to take the exam, the computer randomly selects a set of 15 questions, including 10 questions about traffic safety and 5 questions about online information for the candidate to answer. In addition to the 15 main questions, there is also 01 additional question about predicting the number of people who answer correctly. The candidate's test time is 15 minutes.
Each week, the Organizing Committee will choose to award 16 individual prizes (01 first prize, 02 second prizes, 03 third prizes, 10 consolation prizes). The number of prizes may increase in case there are many contestants with the same prize.
In the collective award, each week, the organizing committee will select 01 unit to win the competition, based on the number of participants, the unit's contestant rate, the quality of the exam, and the weekly prize winner. At the end of the competition, there will continue to be 5 final collective awards for the units.

Launching the contest, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien requested: Departments, branches, agencies, units, schools, students in the whole province to seriously deploy and respond to the contest; promote information and propaganda work so that all people know and participate in the contest; thereby creating a strong change in people's awareness of complying with traffic safety laws and awareness in providing, using, and exploiting information on the internet in accordance with the law, effectively, practically, and healthily./.
