Newborn baby found abandoned in front of private clinic in Yen Thanh
(Baonghean.vn) - A newborn baby abandoned in front of a private clinic in Yen Thanh district was recently discovered by local residents and brought to the commune health station for care.
On August 6, information from the leader of Tang Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district (Nghe An) said that the commune health station is currently taking care of a newborn baby that was just abandoned.
Earlier, at around 5:30 a.m. the same day, people in Hamlet 2, Tang Thanh Commune suddenly heard a baby crying in a row of chairs in front of a private clinic in the area.
After checking, the locals discovered that the newborn baby still had its umbilical cord wrapped in a towel. The information was immediately reported to the authorities and the baby was taken to the commune health station for care and health check-up.
Initially determined the baby was a boy, weighing about 3kg.
Currently, the People's Committee of Tang Thanh commune is issuing a notice to find relatives for the child.
