Sophisticatedly counterfeited 'red covers' discovered in Vinh city

On February 20, while receiving documents related to land procedures at the Vinh City Reception and Results Department, an officer of the Vinh City Land Use Rights Registration Office discovered a fake Land Use Rights Certificate.

After making the record, the Vinh City Land Use Registration Office reported to Vinh City Police, handing over the documents and related evidence for this agency to investigate and clarify.

An official from the Vinh City Land Use Registration Office said that the land use right certificates were forged quite sophisticatedly, from the seals, signatures of city leaders, paper materials... it would be very difficult for ordinary people to detect.

Previously, the Office also discovered a fake apartment ownership certificate that was brought by a resident to complete procedures at the One-Stop Transaction Center.

Currently, Vinh City Police are investigating and clarifying the case.

Faced with the emergence of fake documents related to land procedures, the authorities recommend that before carrying out transaction procedures, the transferee needs to find out some information about the land plot as follows:Are the land and assets on the land in dispute?; Are the area, size and related planning changed compared to the issued Certificate?: Is there a Decision to withdraw, Notice of land withdrawal to implement projects?; Has it been seized or blocked by a competent authority?; Has the Certificate been revoked or canceled?...

The above information can be provided at the People's Committee of the ward or commune where the land is located or at the Vinh City Land Use Registration Office (through the Vinh City Reception and Results Department) according to regulations.
