Detecting a facility producing tissue paper from materials of unknown origin in Vinh city
(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh City police raided and discovered a factory producing tissue paper from materials of unknown origin and without registered trademarks.
On September 26, a working group of the Economic Police Team of Vinh City Police was on duty in Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City when they discovered a tissue paper factory of Vinh Hung Trading and Tourism Joint Stock Company in Lane 362, Pham Hong Thai Street, Block 2, Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City, showing signs of suspected counterfeit goods, so they conducted an inspection.

During the inspection, the working group discovered that this company was producing tissue paper bags without registered trademarks and without documents proving the origin of the raw materials.
The working group made a record of the temporary seizure of objects and documents including 2,210 tissue paper bags with Chinese and Vietnamese characters on the outside, 102 rolls of white paper without labels, 3 electronic scales, 4 heating tables, and 128 kg of packaging with Chinese and Vietnamese characters printed on them used to pack tissue paper.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Quang (born in 1979, residing in Cong Hoa block, Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city), Director of Vinh Hung Trade and Tourism Joint Stock Company, presented that the raw materials for the company's paper production are purchased illegally at markets in the northern provinces, then transported to the factory to produce finished products for sale on the market.
A bag of paper is sold by this company on the market for 72,000 VND and is distributed mainly at Vinh market.
Currently, Vinh City Police are completing the case file to handle it in accordance with the law.
