Discovered and seized more than 10,000 electronic cigarette products in Vinh city
The Economic Police Team, Vinh City Police, has just coordinated with functional forces to inspect, detect and destroy 3 establishments operated by 3 subjects, seizing more than 10,000 electronic cigarette products (POD) of various types and other accessories such as essential oils for electronic cigarettes of unknown origin.
At around 8:30 a.m. on June 30, the Economic Police Team, Vinh City Police, inspected the Kiwi Podsystem Store (address: 3 Nguyen Kiem Street, Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City) owned by TTA (born in 2002), permanent residence in Cam Xuyen Town, Cam Xuyen District, Ha Tinh Province. During the inspection, 5,255 products were discovered to be electronic cigarettes, essential oils and various electronic cigarette accessories.
Previously, at 9:00 a.m. on June 29, the Inspection Team inspected Vapor 24h store (address No. 8, Lane 333, Nguyen Van Cu Street, Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City), owned by NHN (born in 2000), residing in Block 11, Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City. During the inspection, 3,850 electronic cigarettes (PODs) and various accessories were discovered.

At around 11:30 a.m. on June 27, the Inspection Team inspected COI POD Store (address No. 3, Lane 73, Nguyen Duy Trinh Street, Hung Dung Ward, Vinh City), owned by PA D. (born in 2004), residing in Tan My Ha Commune, Huong Son District, Ha Tinh Province. During the inspection, 1,100 products were discovered to be electronic cigarettes, essential oils and various electronic cigarette accessories.
At the police station, the subjects confessed that the electronic cigarettes, essential oils and accessories were purchased illegally on social networks, without invoices or documents to prove their origin.
Currently, the Vinh City Police Investigation Agency has drawn up a record to temporarily detain all goods with signs of violations above for investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
