PV:Sir, it is known that in a series of activities to celebrate the 87th anniversary of the National United Front Day and the National Great Unity Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2017), the Vinh City Fatherland Front Committee will organize a meeting to honor typical artists, intellectuals and outstanding individuals. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Cat:According to the plan, on November 10, 2017, the City Fatherland Front Committee will organize a meeting to honor 87 outstanding artists, intellectuals, and individuals at the city level. They are those who have been honored as doctors, teachers, people's artists, and meritorious artists; those who have been successful and received international and national awards for creative science, literature, art, and excellent students; those who are exemplary, prestigious, and influential in each agency, unit, and residential area...

Among the large number of artists, intellectuals, and outstanding individuals currently working and living in the city, there are 251 people who have been awarded the titles of Teacher, Doctor, People's Artist, and Meritorious Artist by the State; many scientists, writers, and poets have received awards for scientific and technological innovation, literary and artistic awards; there are many outstanding individuals in various sectors, fields, agencies, units, and residential areas, etc.

They have people who have made positive contributions to society: good doctors, applying advanced and new techniques to medical treatment; artists who have contributed a lot to the folk songs, vi, and giặm of Nghệ Tĩnh being honored by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity; businessmen and business leaders who have contributed a lot to the budget, creating jobs for many workers, including disadvantaged workers in society, and actively participating in charity and social activities; people who silently contribute to building each strong and comprehensive residential area...

Therefore, the organization of the award is very important, to recognize the contributions; at the same time, encourage and motivate this team to continue to promote creativity, responsibility, enthusiasm and dedication in each industry, field, agency, unit in particular and society in general.

At the same time, through the honor, once again promote, introduce and publicize these typical examples, creating a spread and replication of typical examples; contributing to promoting strong socio-economic development as well as ensuring national defense and security for the city; building, consolidating and promoting the great national unity bloc.

PV:In recent times, what solutions has the city had to promote the role and contribution of artists, intellectuals and outstanding individuals to the overall development of the city, sir?

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Cat:In recent times, the city's departments and branches have actively attracted this force to participate in implementing many scientific projects; organized conferences to collect opinions and feedback on programs, resolutions, and projects for socio-economic development, national defense and security of the city; created mechanisms, policies, and environments for associations to operate actively and effectively...

This has contributed to arousing and promoting the intelligence and dedication of the team of artists, intellectuals and outstanding individuals in participating in giving advice to the Party Committee and authorities at all levels of the city in the work of leadership, direction, operation and organization of implementation of political tasks. At the same time, this team also has many practical, objective, scientific and constructive criticisms to help the city's levels and sectors perfect policies, make appropriate decisions in solving many problems in practical leadership, direction as well as handling arising problems.

Particularly for the city's Fatherland Front at all levels, with its role and function of gathering and promoting the strength of great national unity, there have been many innovations and creativity in gathering and mobilizing the strength of great national unity of all classes of people to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, campaigns launched by the city as well as movements and campaigns chaired by the City Fatherland Front Committee, in which the team of artists, intellectuals and typical individuals are the core of movements and campaigns, especially the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

PV:To continue to promote more strongly the contributions of artists, intellectuals, and outstanding individuals in the common development as well as building the great national unity bloc, what solutions do you think are needed?

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Cat:Through understanding the thoughts and aspirations of the people, it can be seen that there are still many people who silently contribute, work, contribute their intelligence and enthusiasm in agencies, units, in blocks and residential areas. In order to promote the contributions of this group, the conference to meet and honor outstanding individuals in various fields, the City Fatherland Front will advise to organize this activity as a regular activity.

In the immediate future, within its authority, after this meeting and honoring conference, the City Fatherland Front Committee will also guide member organizations and unions to organize meetings and honoring in their blocs and forces, to encourage and arouse their dedication.

In particular, to continue to build and promote the creativity and dedication of the team of artists, intellectuals and outstanding individuals, it is necessary to first raise awareness of Party committees at all levels, authorities and leaders and managers at all levels about the role and position of this team. Along with that, all levels and sectors need to study mechanisms and policies to gather and promote the contributions of this force; or in other words, it is necessary to study to create a good environment for this team to contribute, be creative and actively participate in all areas of social life.

On the other hand, in the context of the Central Resolution 6 (term XII) proposing many contents, including the requirement to arrange association organizations, in the coming time, it is recommended that the City continue to research to arrange and consolidate a number of association organizations that still have overlapping content of activities to ensure that association organizations are streamlined and operate more effectively.
