Vietnam's first "spaceship" was successfully launched
At 4:00 a.m. on May 16, from the town of Alice Springs (Australia), the "spaceship" built by a group of Vietnamese engineers was successfully launched and operated stably at a flight ceiling of 25km.
"Spaceship" is the full name of stratospheric flying device.

According to Master Pham Gia Vinh - head of the design and manufacturing team, Vietnam's first "spaceship" has been launched into the near-space environment and operates stably at an altitude of 25km. This device is also simulated to operate as a telecommunications satellite.
Thus, after more than 2 years (from February 2014) of research and design with many tests, this event has opened up great prospects in applying the device to research the upper atmosphere, environment, resources, telecommunications and defense.
At an altitude of about 30km, this device will help scientists easily observe and study the formation and path of storms.
The advantage of this device is that it can transfer data faster than satellites by sending the collected images directly back to Earth.
In the field of information security, when a satellite is broken, the flying device can be used as a receiving and transmitting station for a week to serve repairs.
In addition, flying devices can be used as radar systems for defense and scientific research.
