1.Foreign information work in 2022 has been paid attention to and fully and seriously implemented by all levels, sectors, localities and units, contributing to the successful implementation of tasks and goals on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the province, while effectively promoting the important role of foreign affairs work.

Many major events and policies of the country and the province have been fully reflected by media agencies, relevant units, agencies, departments and branches in terms of content, appropriate and diverse forms, especially information about agreements related to bilateral activities between countries, activities to celebrate even-numbered years and full years of friendly cooperation relations with countries around the world.

Sectors and localities have focused on innovating methods, diversifying types of information and propaganda; making the most of propaganda forces, applying technology in foreign communications; focusing on innovating ways to fight and refute information distorting the policies and guidelines of the Party and the Party Committee and the government in the past year in the province.

The coordination, exchange and connection of information between levels and sectors are carried out promptly and smoothly, promoting the results of communication work on the activities of the provincial political system, as well as all levels in performing the key tasks of socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security of the province.

However, promotional activities about Nghe An are not really strong and effective, the effect outside the province is still limited; propaganda products and foreign information are not breakthrough; coordination and mobilization of synchronous strength in propaganda information are sometimes not fully promoted.

2. Some tasks and solutions in the coming time:

- Innovate the thinking of implementing foreign information work towards improving the effectiveness of both "internal" and "external" information, associated with implementing the viewpoints and guidelines of the Party Congress resolutions at all levels, especially closely following and effectively implementing the Central Committee's Foreign Information Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

- Continue to pay attention to innovating propaganda methods in the direction of diversification with the motto "proactive, timely, synchronous, creative, effective" to create a breakthrough in opening up communication directions to promote the image of Vietnam and Nghe An abroad. Enhance the role of localities, taking "locality" as the "nucleus" and "foundation". Maximize modern media applying digital technology. Proactively coordinate to effectively exploit information through key national media channels.

- Focus resources on building modern media products, suitable for each audience, in many languages ​​to introduce investment attraction policies, potentials and strengths of the province, promote the image of Nghe An people and homeland to the international community.

- Promote information and propaganda for overseas Vietnamese in general and Nghe An people in particular, focusing on increasing communication effects. Build a database of Nghe An people abroad, mobilize the strength of the Nghe An community abroad to participate and spread information to promote and advertise the values ​​of national culture and Nghe culture to international friends.

- Timely grasp and orient the ideology and information of public opinion in the province. Improve the capacity to analyze and forecast the development trends of international relations in the direction of limiting and not allowing the distortion and propaganda against the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and the socio-economic development plans and policies of Nghe An province, especially in the issue of attracting investment, building industrial facilities in the area, environmental treatment issues...

- Strengthen management work, grasp the political situation in the area, especially the border area, the ideological situation, public opinion, the activities of collusion and propaganda against hostile forces... to promptly and effectively handle complicated activities arising in the province.

- Organize inspection, supervision and urging of the implementation of foreign information tasks in localities and units. Pay attention to improving the quality of working facilities and creating conditions for the team of people working in foreign information to participate in the province's promotion and advertising delegations at home and abroad.
