Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong attended the review conference of the Standing Committee of the Quynh Luu District Party Committee

On the afternoon of December 23, the Standing Committee of Quynh Luu District Party Committee held a conference to review the collective Standing Committee and individual members of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee in 2022.

In 2022, despite many difficulties and disadvantages, especially due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the direction and management of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the socio-economic situation of Quynh Luu district continued to have good developments, political security, and social order and safety were maintained. The whole district had 29/32 targets achieved and exceeded the set plan.

In particular, many targets were achieved, such as budget collection estimated at 453 billion VND. Total production value is estimated at more than 14,700 billion VND, up 11.8% compared to 2021; economic growth rate is estimated at 9.2%; Average income per capita is estimated at 53.68 million VND, up 4.5 million VND compared to 2021. Quynh Luu is recognized as a New Rural District.

At the review conference, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee also frankly pointed out a number of shortcomings and limitations in the leadership and direction work in 2022. Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the preparation of the review content; acknowledged and commended the positive results in the leadership, direction and implementation of political tasks of the Standing Committee of the Quynh Luu District Party Committee.

Seriously pointing out the limitations and shortcomings of 2022, comrade Nguyen Van Thong also directed the Standing Committee of the Quynh Luu District Party Committee to 6 key contents in 2023. In particular, focusing on directing economic development, enriching people in cultivated areas; applying science and technology to bring per capita income higher than in 2022. The district needs to focus on developing the marine economy, helping people go out to sea, increase income; promote socio-cultural work, improve the spiritual and cultural life of the people; improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, the quality of the Party members. Improve and innovate the working methods of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and each individual; focus on innovating the Party's leadership methods at the unit; pay attention to the work of recruiting Party members.

Immediately after the collective review, the Standing Committee of Quynh Luu District Party Committee seriously reviewed each individual member of the Standing Committee.
