Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu met with voters of Tuong Duong district

At the meeting with voters, Mr. Nguyen Van Hai - Secretary of Tuong Duong District Party Committee announced the results of the 14th Session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVIII, term 2021 - 2026.

Accordingly, after 2.5 days of urgent and serious work, the Provincial People's Council discussed and unanimously approved 26 reports, 30 specialized Resolutions in various fields and 1 Resolution on personnel work of Provincial People's Council delegates, ensuring stability, innovation and development of the province in 2023 and the following years.

The Provincial People's Council also spent time questioning and answering questions about the current situation, causes, responsibilities and solutions to prevent and combat school violence; life skills education for students; prevention and combat of child drowning; protection, care and education of children in special circumstances; questioning and answering questions about the current situation, causes and solutions to implement policies to support agricultural development, restructuring crops and livestock associated with production and consumption of OCOP products in conditions of adapting to the impact of climate change and market fluctuations.

At the conference, voters of Tam Quang commune sent many recommendations to People's Council delegates at all levels related to policies to support the construction of traffic works; the issuance of land use right certificates; support and compensation for natural disasters, hydropower;...

Regarding the difficulties of the hydropower project in the area, voters of Tam Quang commune proposed that superiors soon have a plan to inspect and survey to support the construction of embankments to prevent landslides along the Lam River due to the impact of the flood discharge on August 30-31, 2018. People of Tam Lien, Bai Xa, Bai So villages requested superiors to pay attention and give opinions to Chi Khe hydropower plant to soon complete the measurement for more than 70 households affected by flooding and subsidence to be added in the next phase.

Voters suggested that the Provincial People's Committee pay attention to supporting cement for communes that have reached the new rural target and have plans to upgrade and repair roads, complete the internal road systems and roads to production areas so that people can soon stabilize and develop the economy.

Voters from Lang Mo Village commented that the National Highway 48C section was completed and put into use in 2010. During the construction process, there was no drainage system at the head of Tam Quang Bridge, affecting the traffic of people. Voters requested that competent authorities consider and resolve this issue.

Regarding forest protection policy, voter Luong Sy Thanh, Tam Quang commune, suggested that forest environmental service fees are too low, making people not interested in caring for and protecting the forest.

Voter Luong Van Thanh of Tam Bong village commented that the village's clean water system is currently degraded and can only meet the needs of 70/248 households. Therefore, Mr. Luong Van Thanh proposed that all levels pay attention to upgrading and building clean water systems to serve the people.

In addition, voters also submitted recommendations to the Provincial People's Council Delegation regarding difficulties in granting land use right certificates; difficulties in compensation and site clearance for hydropower projects in the area; policies for the elderly; lack of vaccines for newborns; lack of residential land...

Receiving voters' opinions, representatives of Tuong Duong district leaders responded to voters' petitions according to their authority.

Listening to and fully absorbing the opinions of voters, on behalf of the elected Provincial People's Council delegates in Tuong Duong district, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu respectfully thanked the efforts and contributions of the Party Committee, government and people of Tuong Duong district, Tam Quang commune in particular, to the overall development of the province in the past time.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assessed that the voters' opinions were very frank, democratic, and responsible with the spirit of working for the common good of the province and district. The competent authorities will resolve the people's legitimate petitions.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu discussed and specifically answered issues related to the proposal to grant land for production; the implementation of compensation for the construction of National Highway 48C since 2010 and the construction of drainage ditches on the road in 2022. Regarding the issue of support for those affected by the tornado in March 2022, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu said that the Department of Finance has provided funds to the district, and requested Tuong Duong district to promptly implement according to the approved list.

Regarding the conversion of crop structure to increase productivity and value and increase income for people, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu suggested that Tuong Duong district conduct research to select suitable plant varieties for production in the area.

Regarding the proposal to separate households to be granted residential land, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that local authorities need to properly implement residential land planning, from which they can divide plots for bidding or grant land to policy families according to regulations. For production land, based on the production land fund in the area, if there is a reserve land fund, land will be granted according to State regulations...

Regarding voter Luong Sy Thanh's reflection that the forest environmental service fee of 120,000 VND/ha is too low, causing people to not be interested in caring for and protecting the forest, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu said that at the 14th session, the 13th Provincial People's Council just passed a Resolution, allowing people to enjoy a minimum forest environmental service fee of 300,000 VND/ha.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu also requested local Party committees and authorities to pay attention to reviewing the contents of voters' petitions to resolve issues within their authority and to coordinate in resolving issues within the authority of higher levels, ensuring the rights of the people./.
