Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh joined in the Great Solidarity Festival in Anh Son district

On the morning of November 13, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice ChairmanProvincial People's Committeereturned to village 5, Linh Son commune, Anh Son district to celebrate the "National Great Unity Day" with the local people. Also attending were comrade Le Van Ngoc - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command; and leaders of Anh Son district.

Linh Son commune is located in the East.Anh Son district, 18 km from the district center, has the Yen Xuan National Historical Site, where the first Party cell of Anh Son district was established (September 1929). The whole commune currently has 8 villages, of which village 5 is one of the localities with many outstanding achievements in socio-economic development in recent years.

Village 5 is a village merged from villages 8 and 9 in November 2019. The village has a natural land area of ​​165.6 hectares. The population is 306 households with 1,192 people. The Party cell has 50 party members, of which 31 party members have been awarded the badge from 30 to 70 years of Party age.

This is a locality with a variety of economic sectors such as cultivation, livestock, and aquaculture. In addition, there are many establishments in small-scale industry, construction, services, and trade. These establishments operate effectively, with stable revenue, contributing to job creation and income improvement for dozens of households.

Village 5 is also a unit with a tradition of studiousness. In the 2020-2021 school year, 140 students achieved excellent and advanced results at school and district levels, and 5 students passed university entrance exams.

The work of building new rural areas in village 5 has also achieved many encouraging results. Households have joined hands to contribute 101 million VND to build items, including upgrading and completing internal village roads, building 2 welcome gates, repairing and renewing drainage ditches to serve production...

People in Village 5 are always at the forefront of movements to support the "For the Poor" Fund, support households with risky circumstances, illnesses, natural disasters, etc. In particular, in the recent campaign to support the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Fund, the Village Front Committee has organized propaganda and mobilized people, families, and self-governing groups to donate money, food, necessities, and meals to frontline forces against the epidemic and people in quarantine. In addition to cash, people also support the people of Vinh City and Ho Chi Minh City with food and provisions, joining hands to overcome the pandemic.
