On behalf of the Provincial People's Council delegates at the constituency in Nghia Dan district, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Dai informed voters about the expected content and agenda of the 5th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council; reported on the socio-economic development results of the province in 2017; and the results of handling voters' petitions before the 4th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council.
Ms. Phan Thi Hoan informed voters about the agricultural development support policies of the Provincial People's Council; the school milk program in Nghe An province, period 2018 - 2020.

At the conference, voter Nguyen Anh Hong, Nghia Mai commune, reflected that Nghia Mai is a difficult commune 30 km from the district center, the poverty rate is still high, infrastructure is difficult, and ethnic minorities account for over 70%.
People in Nghia Mai commune have had many opinions about traffic routes, inter-commune roads from Nghia Hong - Nghia Mai - Nghia Yen, many projects, surveying companies but so far have not been invested. Voters hope that the government will soon pay attention so that people can have convenient roads.

Voter Nguyen Thanh Binh - Chairman of the Association of War Veterans of Nghia Mai commune, reported that the office of Nghia Mai commune does not have enough offices, so 3-4 organizations work together in a dilapidated and cramped room, affecting the quality and efficiency of work of cadres and civil servants.
Meanwhile, making a recommendation to the provincial People's Council delegates, Ms. Truong Thi Luu - Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front of Nghia Hong commune expressed concern about the situation of goods of unknown origin circulating widely in rural areas, lacking control by authorities.
“Voters hope that authorities will strengthen control of consumer goods circulating in localities, especially remote areas, to ensure food safety and hygiene and ensure people's health,” said Ms. Luu.
Explaining some voters' opinions under his authority, Mr. Nguyen Van Dan - Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghia Mai commune said that recently the commune has invested in building a number of projects, focusing on prioritizing the construction of schools and medical stations.

Regarding the issue of the commune's office building, Mr. Dan affirmed that this is a common difficulty of many localities. Although Nghia Mai commune has an investment policy, the capital is small so it has not invested in construction.
Regarding the degraded inter-commune road, the locality regularly repairs it but only helps people travel temporarily. In the long term, the people of Nghia Mai as well as the communes in the region hope that the authorities will pay attention and support the construction of the inter-commune road.
Clarifying issues of concern to voters in the western communes of Nghia Dan district, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: Recently, the province has established a steering committee to strongly inspect the circulation of smuggled goods, counterfeit goods, and goods of unknown origin.
Mr. Le Xuan Dai suggested that officials at all levels and people need to do a good job of propaganda and mobilization so that consumers understand that when buying goods, they need to pay attention to the origin; to avoid bad people taking advantage to help consume poor quality goods.
Regarding health insurance examination and treatment, Nghe An is one of the localities with the largest health insurance fund deficit in the country, including many objective and subjective reasons that have been clearly analyzed and explained by Mr. Le Xuan Dai.
Regarding the issue of traffic infrastructure, Mr. Le Xuan Dai suggested that Nghia Dan district take advantage of capital sources and investment projects to soon implement the inter-commune road project to create favorable trading conditions for people.
Other recommendations on policies to support agriculture and rural areas; environmental pollution in rural areas, increasing allowances for grassroots Union officials; school milk program, increasing staffing for schools; converting agricultural and forestry land; funding for community monitoring boards... were answered and clarified by the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Dai and leaders of Nghia Dan district./.
