Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh launched a movement for civil servants to say no to negativity.

On the afternoon of July 24, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held a launching ceremony for the campaign "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees say no to negativity" and the emulation movement "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees compete to practice office culture." Speaking at the launching ceremony, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh emphasized that during the years of national renewal, the Vietnam Trade Union has closely followed the political tasks of the Party and Government, innovated its organization, content and methods of operation, taken the lead in economic and social development, and been proactive in administrative reform, fighting against corruption and negativity.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that over the years, emulation movements launched and organized by the Trade Union have always been actively responded to by a large number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers nationwide, have had a widespread effect and achieved high efficiency, and have been recognized by the leaders of the Party, the State, all levels, sectors and localities, typically: "Good workers, creative workers", "Emulation to link up to build key national projects", "Good at public work, good at housework", "Emulation to serve the cause of industrialization, modernization of agriculture and rural development"...

In particular, the Trade Union promotes propaganda and mobilizes workers, civil servants and laborers to actively "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"...

Besides the majority of cadres, civil servants and public employees who are dedicated and responsible to their work and to the people, strictly complying with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, there is still a group of cadres, civil servants and public employees who are irresponsible, indifferent, insensitive, have corrupt and negative behaviors, and violate the Party's regulations and the State's laws and policies.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the implementation of the Campaign "Cadres, civil servants and public employees say no to negativity" by the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in conjunction with the emulation movement "Cadres, civil servants and public employees compete to implement office culture" is very meaningful and commendable, demonstrating the spirit of the Trade Union accompanying the Government in carrying out the country's major tasks.

To successfully implement the Campaign "Cadres, civil servants and public employees say no to negativity," the Deputy Prime Minister requested that trade unions at all levels, especially the Civil Servants' Trade Union at all levels, need to step up propaganda about the purpose, requirements, content, and significance of the campaign and movement, methods of organization and implementation, and the signing of emulation contracts for collectives and individuals; deploy the campaign and movement widely throughout the entire system, focusing on agencies and localities with high risks of negativity and corruption;

Provide regular and decisive direction; key cadres must truly set an example; advise the Party Committee to include the Campaign's content in Party cell meetings; build model examples and typical individuals to replicate throughout the system; link the implementation of the Campaign with emulation movements and other movements, with the professional tasks of each agency and unit...

President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Bui Van Cuong said the content of the Campaign includes no authoritarianism, arrogance, causing difficulties and troubles; no bureaucracy, insensitivity, irresponsibility; no corruption, waste, group interests; no flattery, lobbying, deceit; no taking advantage of positions and powers in performing public duties.

The main content of the Movement includes for the collective: Emulating to build civilized, modern, green, clean, and beautiful agencies and units. For civil servants and public employees: Emulating to implement discipline, responsibility, dedication, and professionalism.
