Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation attended the Great Unity Day in Hoang Mai town
(Baonghean.vn) - The National Great Unity Day in residential areas is an opportunity to promote patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, and to rekindle the heroic and glorious tradition of our nation in building and defending the Fatherland.
On the afternoon of November 14, comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee - Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegationparliamentattended the National Great Unity Day with the residents of village 8, Quynh Trang commune,Hoang Mai town.

Also attending the ceremony were comrades Tran Thi Thu Huong - Vice Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union and a number of relevant departments and branches. Village 8, Quynh Trang commune currently has more than 180 households. Over the past years, overcoming difficulties, villagers have joined together to develop the economy, actively helping each other to sustainably reduce poverty, improve living standards, and encourage legitimate enrichment.
Currently, in addition to growing rice, households in the village also manage over 15 hectares of forest land and have many effective farms, with an average income of 120-150 million VND/year thanks to the combination of afforestation, fruit tree planting, livestock and poultry farming, and beekeeping for honey.

In particular, the villagers have united to build a cultural life in the residential area, mobilizing people to practice a cultural lifestyle, civilized behavior, and eliminate backward and superstitious procedures. In 2021, the village had 162/180 households achieving the title of cultural family. The rate of students passing the entrance exam to colleges and universities is increasing.
At this year's Great Unity Festival, Village 8 of Quynh Trang Commune cut the ribbon to inaugurate and put into use the newly built, spacious, clean village cultural house with a lighting system, a playground area to organize outdoor activities in the residential area with a total investment of over 700 million VND.

Continue to build many models and examples in all areas of social life; create social consensus to help each other develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, get rich legally, contributing to the successful implementation of the economic and social goals of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas of the locality.
In addition, promote the tradition of remembering the source of drinking water, the spirit of mutual love, create conditions to help war invalids, families of martyrs, people with meritorious services to the revolution; join hands for the poor; help lonely elderly people, orphans with no place to rely on, the unfortunate, those with risks and hardships in life.

The community also needs to promote democracy, maintain discipline, everyone lives and works according to the Constitution and laws; well implement grassroots democracy regulations, community conventions and covenants, build a healthy living environment, and preserve and promote traditional moral values.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the delegates also presented gifts on the occasion of the Great National Unity Day to the residential area of village 8. In addition, the delegation also presented 10 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to families in difficult circumstances in the area./.
