Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee attended the Great Solidarity Festival in Con Cuong

The solidarity festival also had representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, along with leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Con Cuong district and many local people.

Boong village has 100 households with 463 people, of which 100% are Thai ethnic people. With the attention of the Party Committee, the government, and the Fatherland Front at all levels, the Party members and people of Boong village are always united, unanimous, and join forces to compete in economic development, transforming the structure of crops and livestock; applying science and technology to production; and repairing the welfare works, irrigation and traffic works of the village.

The poverty rate of the village will decrease from 23% (in 2023) to less than 10% (in 2024). Notably, in 2024, 13 households voluntarily applied to escape poverty. The average income per capita at the end of 2024 is expected to reach more than 45 million VND/person/year.

Village officials and people are focusing on striving to complete the criteria, determined to bring the village to the new rural finish line. Up to now, the village has achieved 13/13 criteria, and is completing the dossier to request the District People's Committee to recognize the village as meeting the new rural standards in 2024.

The movement of the whole people uniting to build a green, clean, and beautiful landscape environment is associated with the Saturday movement of joining hands to build new rural areas and environmental sanitation. Many families are interested in creating a clean and beautiful landscape; gardens with green vegetables all year round; raising pigs and chickens all year round. 96% of village roads and alleys in the village have been concreted; 97 households use clean water; 98% of households have televisions; 97.2% of households have motorbikes; 5 households have tractors to serve production and business.

Implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas", in the past year, 95 households achieved the title of cultural family and 10 typical cultural households, maintained 2 volleyball teams (men's and women's) and 1 art team, regularly organized art performances and sports competitions on the occasion of celebrating the Party, celebrating Spring, activities to celebrate major national holidays and participated in competitions organized by superiors.

The organization of weddings and funerals has been modernized by the villagers, eliminating many backward customs. The grassroots democracy regulations and village conventions have been well implemented with the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people check and people benefit".

Speaking at the Great Unity Festival, comrade Le Duc Cuong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee highly appreciated the results and achievements of the Boong residential area.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board commended the outstanding achievements in socio-economic development, material and spiritual life of the people; green, clean and beautiful natural environment, healthier social environment, social security is taken care of; the village spirit is united, loving, helping each other, the number of well-off and rich households increases, the number of poor households decreases...

In order to continue promoting the tradition of patriotic and revolutionary emulation and the results achieved in the past year, comrade Le Duc Cuong suggested that cadres and people continue to carry out well the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".,Take care of the cause of great national unity; build many models and examples in all areas of social life; create social consensus to help each other develop the economy, eliminate hunger and poverty, and eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

At the same time, help each other with seeds, animals, and experiences to develop production, gradually improve living standards, reduce poverty, and contribute to the successful implementation of economic and social goals and new rural construction of the locality.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board also noted that promoting democracy must be associated with maintaining discipline in the community; mobilizing everyone and every household to say no to the production of dirty food. All people participate in the movement to prevent crime, social evils, protect national security; and participate in reconciling internal conflicts.
