After the "unprecedented" opening ceremony of the new school year, on the morning of September 6, many parents had to go to bookstores to buy school supplies for their children. According to many parents, this school year they ordered books and school supplies through schools, especially for primary school, but up to this point, the schools have not provided enough. Therefore, parents have to rush to buy more to ensure that their children have books and notebooks.
Besides, many parents did not foresee the prolonged social distancing and students having to study online, so they did not fully purchase learning materials.
In the context of Vinh City continuing to apply Directive 16 of the Government, centers, bookstores, and school equipment stores are allowed to operate. However, the worrying thing is that gathering too many people at one time, not ensuring social distancing regulations, will potentially pose many risks of spreading the disease.
