Thanh Chuong women share and connect love during the epidemic season
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to share difficulties with families with members being treated for Covid-19 and implementing quarantine to prevent the epidemic, women in localities in Thanh Chuong district have organized many meaningful and practical activities.
Recently,Covid-19 epidemicIn Thanh Chuong district, the situation is complicated, F0 cases are increasing rapidly, every day and night (24 hours) 500 - 600 new infections are detected.
As of the afternoon of March 4, the total number of positive cases in the district was more than 10,000. In the context of the epidemic spreading throughout communes and towns, many localities still organized well the implementation of medical declaration, tracing, isolation, and actively preventing the epidemic.

During the quarantine, families with F0 and F1 members faced many difficulties in daily life and production. In this situation, to share and encourage these families, local women joined hands to support housework and work to help families feel secure during quarantine and treatment.
In Thanh Xuan commune, with the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, mutual assistance in times of difficulty and hardship, the Thanh Xuan Commune Women's Union coordinated with the Phu Lap Hamlet Women's Union to organize rice planting for families with members who tested positive for Covid-19. In recent days, dozens of women in Phu Lap Hamlet have enthusiastically arranged their housework to go to the fields to plant and plant rice.
On this occasion, many areas of rice sown too densely by households were thinned; some deep rice fields that had not been planted due to flooding were thinned and planted by women. Thanks to the cooperation of local women, the rice fields of families in quarantine were all planted and soaked fully, ensuring good rice growth.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, a household that received help in the village, said: My family has 4 people who have been infected with F0 and have to be quarantined at home, neglecting farm work. Fortunately, the Commune Women's Union coordinated with the Women's Union and the Farmers' Association to call on everyone to take time off from soaking rice to help the family. The spirit of mutual love from the villagers encouraged the family to feel secure in their treatment.
Not only pruning and soaking rice, women in some communes also join hands to plow the land, fertilize, plant peanuts, plant cassava, weed corn... to help families with people infected with F0. With the spirit of "sharing and connecting love", in recent days, women in Nho Lien hamlet, Thanh Nho commune have mobilized hundreds of working days to organize many practical activities.
Some typical activities include weeding cassava for Ms. Lan's family, planting cassava for Ms. Thoa's family, weeding cassava and intercropping corn for Ms. Khuong's family (out of 5 people, 4 have F0)... The corn and cassava fields of the families in quarantine in the hamlet have been taken care of, weeded, and hoeed carefully by the women.

During the quarantine, raising livestock has been difficult for families. Corn and grass are available in the fields but they cannot be cut.
On this occasion,womenNho Lien hamlet took advantage of housework to cut elephant grass, corn leaves, pigweed... and deliver them to the gates of families with people infected with F0. It was touching to see some women enthusiastically driving their carts to the fields to transport corn and grass to quarantined families "as if doing it for their own families".
Ms. Tran Thi Tinh - Head of the Women's Association of Nho Lien hamlet, Thanh Nho commune shared: "During the period of quarantine, treatment, and health monitoring at home, households encountered many difficulties and obstacles, especially in farming and livestock raising. More than ever, the women in the hamlet were all willing to help.
If any family in quarantine has any necessary matters, please call me or the group leaders or the comrades in the executive board of the self-management groups, we are always ready to support. At the same time, I also ask the sisters in the neighborhood to always care for and help the families of the sisters in quarantine. The help of everyone at this time is extremely necessary."
