Buddha Bar has another Covid-19 case, Vietnam records 237 cases
At 6:35 p.m. on April 3, the Ministry of Health officially announced four new cases of Covid-19, bringing the total number of cases in Vietnam to 237.
CASE 234 (BN234):The patient is a 69-year-old female Vietnamese national residing in Buon Don District, Dak Lak Province. On March 17, 2020, the patient returned to Vietnam from Paris (France) on Vietnam Airlines flight number VN2106, seat number 45, and entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on March 18, 2020.
After entering the country, the patient was taken to centralized quarantine at Military School of Military Region 7, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City. During the quarantine period, the patient's health was stable.
On March 30, 2020, the patient was tested and the result was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus. The patient is currently being transferred to isolation and monitoring at Can Gio Covid-19 Treatment Hospital.
CASE 235 (BN235):The patient is a 25-year-old male British national. On March 14, 2020, he went to Buddha Bar (Ho Chi Minh City). The patient has no symptoms and is being quarantined in District 9.
The specimen from District 9 Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City sent to the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus. Immediately after the test results were available, the patient was transferred to Cu Chi Field Hospital.

CASE 237 (BN237):The male patient, 64 years old, Swedish nationality, came to Vietnam since the end of December 2019, traveled to many places such as: Ninh Binh (March 17, 2020), Ho Chi Minh City (March 21-22, 2020); returned to Hanoi from March 22, 2020 until now. The patient has blood cancer (acute leukemia).
On March 26, 2020, the patient had an accident and was taken to the French Hospital by ambulance 115, then returned to the hotel. On March 31, 2020, the patient had a severe nosebleed, was taken by his family to Duc Giang General Hospital, examined and transferred to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
On the morning of April 1, 2020, the patient's blood sample was taken, the test result was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus and he was transferred to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2.
Thus, up to this point, Vietnam has recorded 237 cases of Covid-19, of which 85 cases have been declared cured. The remaining patients are currently being isolated and treated at medical facilities across the country. The majority of patients are in stable health condition.
