(Baonghean.vn) - Although the Provincial People's Committee has not yet allowed entertainment venues and electronic centers to reopen, some crowded game shops in Vinh City are still openly open without being warned or handled.

According to the reporter's records, on the afternoon of May 4, Duc Phuc game shop, located right at the intersection of Vo Thi Sau Street and Bach Lieu Street, Vinh City, was still open to welcome customers. Outside, vehicles were parked tightly in front of the shop.

Inside the shop, dozens of young people sat close together, not wearing masks, talking and laughing loudly. The keyboards and mice used for gaming were not cleaned or disinfected regularly, while each machine had an average of 5-6 people sitting in and out every day.

A nearby restaurant owner said that the game shop has been open for a few days now, with 40-50 customers coming in every day. In addition, students have basically returned to school, so the game shop is often bustling with activity as they are the main customers.

Similarly, Arena Gaming on Phong Dinh Cang Street was also openly operating on the afternoon of May 4. The difference was that the outside of this game shop was closed and quiet as if it had stopped operating, but in fact, it was still welcoming customers inside.

Inside the shop, around 2-3 pm on May 4, there were about 30 young people playing games.

Not only the two above-mentioned game shops but also some other game shops are still openly open without permission, especially in school areas. However, on the afternoon of May 4, there were no functional forces to check and handle the situation.

Game shops are one of the crowded places, but the awareness of disease prevention of both shop owners and players is very poor. This is very dangerous when students have returned to school, game shops are places with the risk of spreading disease...

Previously, the Government issued Directive 19 and the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Official Dispatch No. 2430 stating that public entertainment services, including electronic game venues, will continue to be temporarily suspended until further notice.
