(Baonghean.vn) - Although the Provincial People's Committee has not yet allowed entertainment venues and electronic centers to reopen, some crowded game shops in Vinh City are still openly open without being warned or handled.

According to information from Ben Thuy Ward Police, on the afternoon of May 4, Ben Thuy Ward Police coordinated with the Administrative Management Team, Vinh City Police during a patrol and discovered Duc Phuc game shop, at the intersection of Bach Lieu and Vo Thi Sau streets, Vinh City, open for business, welcoming guests even though it was not yet allowed to resume business according to Directive 19 and Official Dispatch No. 2430 of the Provincial People's Committee.

The authorities have drawn up a report against Mr. NCP, residing in block 9, Ben Thuy ward, the owner of this game shop, for the above behavior.

Previously, this business owner had been reminded many times and had also signed a commitment to implement urgent measures to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic but continued to violate. It is known that at the time of the inspection by the authorities, there were dozens of young people playing games at this game shop.

According to the provisions of Point c, Clause 4, Article 11 of Decree No. 176/2013/ND-CP dated November 14, 2013 of the Government, the act of "Failure to implement the Decision to apply measures to temporarily suspend business and service activities in public places to prevent and fight the epidemic" is subject to a fine of 5 million to 10 million VND. The authorities proposed to fine this business owner 7.5 million VND and request the store to close according to regulations.

Regarding the Arena Gaming game shop on Phong Dinh Cang street, according to the reporter's records, it also secretly opened against regulations on the afternoon of May 4. A representative of Ben Thuy Ward Police said: "When we came to check, this game shop was closed. However, based on the information posted by Nghe An Newspaper and the evidence provided by the reporter, we will check. If there is a violation, we will strictly handle it according to regulations."
