Located right in the center of Kim Son town is the Kim Son market project, which was just opened and put into use at the end of July 2021. This is a spacious, modern market, worthy of the top rank in the Western Nghe An region. The market has a scale of more than 6,000 m2With a total investment of 101.46 billion VND, planning 389 kiosks from 1-3 floors, located in a prime location at the intersection of National Highway 16 and Provincial Road 544B - the main commercial area of Que Phong district, playing a role in promoting the socio-economic development of the town and neighboring areas, while creating great attraction for customers and tourists from all over.

For example, in the field of transportation, we can mention the upgrading of Provincial Road 544B; Upgrading and renovating national highways passing through the district; inter-village roads: Tam Village, Pa Nat, Don, Na Pu, Long Khong, Han, Tong Mo reservoir (Muong Noc commune), Co Noong Village, Na Nga (Muong Noc), Tang Village, Coi Village (Tien Phong commune) with a length of 7,593.81m according to the standards of type A rural roads...
Regarding the above inter-village road, Ms. Luong Thi Hai, head of Na Nga village at that time, said: Since the road was completed and put into use in early 2018, it has met the requirements of transport infrastructure serving production and people's lives. According to the assessment results of the current status of socio-economic development and socio-economic infrastructure in Que Phong district in the period of 2010 - 2020. Management and maintenance of technical infrastructure works have been strengthened; 100% of communes and towns have asphalt roads and national grid electricity to the commune center.

Some key projects have been completed and put into use such as: District Boarding Secondary School; Factory and water supply system in the central area of the district; Truong Banh Irrigation Branch Canal System; Nam Tot Irrigation and Domestic Water System, major traffic works, and people's bridge systems in some communes...
In particular, investment projects from the budget include: Upgrading Provincial Road 544B; Upgrading and renovating national highways passing through the district; Kim Son town water plant; District boarding secondary school for ethnic minorities; Upgrading Que Phong district high school; Truong Banh irrigation branch canal system; Nam Tot irrigation system combined with domestic water; Muong Pang irrigation.
In addition, there is also an approved investment project, the Community Tourism and Cultural Conservation Area of the Thai ethnic group, by the Community Tourism Conservation and Development Company Limited, with a total investment of 19.95 billion VND.
Many completed and put into use projects have been effective, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, improving the material and spiritual life of the people; the average economic growth rate in the area in the period of 2010-2020 reached 14.63%, the district managed 7.45% (of which the period of 2011-2015 reached 17.83%, the district managed 7.74%, the period of 2015-2020 reached 9.1%/year, the district managed 7.32%/year); average income per capita (current price) increased from 10.38 million VND in 2015 to 38 million VND in 2020.
The economic structure continues to shift towards reducing the proportion of agriculture and increasing the proportion of industry, construction and services. Total social investment capital reached over 6,335 billion VND; budget revenue in the area reached over 389 billion VND (the average budget revenue growth rate in the period 2010-2020 reached 9.38%/year).
In the development direction, building the socio-economic infrastructure of Que Phong district in the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, the district still identifies strategic breakthroughs in the period of 2021-2030, which is to focus on developing a synchronous socio-economic infrastructure system, in which priority is given to developing transport infrastructure, tourist areas, border trade infrastructure and information technology - communication infrastructure to create conditions for people and businesses to easily and equally access development opportunities to create momentum for growth.
Accordingly, to achieve the goal of synchronous infrastructure development in many fields, the district continues to improve the investment environment, create favorable conditions for economic sectors to develop, increase new revenue sources for the budget. Maximize internal resources, mobilize external resources, accelerate investment progress in building infrastructure systems, attract investment in industrial parks and clusters.
