National Assembly votes to pass Law on Cyber Security
Continuing the 10th session, on November 19, National Assembly deputies will vote to pass the Law on Cyber Security. At the same time, the National Assembly will discuss the Law on Pharmacy (amended) and the Law on Property Auction.

Previously, on October 29, National Assembly deputies discussed in the hall a number of controversial contents of the draft Law on Network Information Security.
During the discussion, 12 National Assembly deputies spoke. The opinions focused on the following contents: The name of the Law, the scope of regulation and the interpretation of terms; the protection of personal information on the Internet; preventing and handling the illegal sale of personal information on the Internet, spreading spam messages; protecting young people from the negative impacts of information on the Internet; the responsibility of organizations and individuals in ensuring network information security; and classifying the information security levels of information systems.
Besides, there are opinions on assigning the Government Cipher Committee to be responsible for assisting the Minister of National Defense in performing State management of civil cryptography; on international cooperation in network information security...
In today's working program, after the National Assembly voted to pass the Law on Cyber Security, Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Report on the draft Law on Pharmacy (amended). In the afternoon, delegates discussed at the drafting group of the Law on Pharmacy (amended).
Also in the working program, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the draft Law on Property Auction.
