Taking place on the first day of the working week (November 25), the National Assembly will vote on the Resolution to elect members of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the Resolution to elect the Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee.

According to the program, the National Assembly will vote on the Law on Reserve Forces; the Law on Securities (amended); the Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on State Audit; the Resolution approving the investment policy of the Ka Pet reservoir project in Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province; the Resolution on tax debt relief, late payment penalty cancellation, and late payment interest for taxpayers who are no longer able to pay to the state budget.

The National Assembly also voted on the Resolution on the Feasibility Study Report of the Long Thanh International Airport Construction Investment Project Phase 1; Resolution on judicial work; Resolution on the pilot of not organizing People's Councils in wards of districts and towns of Hanoi city.

The resolution approving the Supplementary Treaty to the 1985 Treaty on the Delimitation of National Boundaries and the 2005 Supplementary Treaty between Vietnam and Cambodia; the Protocol on Land Border Demarcation and Marker Planting between Vietnam and Cambodia was also voted on.

Three draft laws: Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Judicial Expertise; Law on Mediation and Dialogue at Court; and Law on Construction will be discussed for the first time by the National Assembly in the hall.

According to the procedure, these draft laws will continue to receive comments from National Assembly deputies at the next session.

The closing session on the afternoon of November 27 will be broadcast live on radio and television.

The National Assembly voted on the Resolution on the results of thematic supervision of the implementation of policies and laws on fire prevention and fighting in the period of 2014-2018; Resolution on questions and answers; Resolution of the 8th Session of the 14th National Assembly (including the content on postponing the collection of fees for granting rights to exploit minerals and exploit water resources; the use of 20% of the remaining funds of the Health Insurance Medical Examination and Treatment Fund in 2015).

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan will deliver a closing speech at the 8th Session.
