The National Assembly proceeded to dismiss the Minister of Health and the Chairman of the Law Committee.

On the morning of November 22, according to the schedule of the 8th Session, the National Assembly will dismiss Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien and Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the Law Committee Nguyen Khac Dinh.

Previously, the Politburo decided to appoint Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tien as Head of the Central Committee for Protection and Health Care of Officials, replacing Mr. Nguyen Quoc Trieu who had retired.

Chairman of the Law Committee Nguyen Khac Dinh was also appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term, replacing Mr. Le Thanh Quang, who was dismissed from his position to receive treatment for a serious illness.

Accordingly, on the same morning, the National Assembly Standing Committee will submit to the National Assembly the dismissal of member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the Law Committee Nguyen Khac Dinh. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will present a proposal to approve the dismissal of Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien.

After that, the delegates will discuss in the Delegation about the dismissal of the above two personnel.

On the same afternoon, the National Assembly Standing Committee reported the results of discussions at the National Assembly Delegation on the dismissal of a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee; and approved the dismissal of the Minister of Health.

Next, the National Assembly Standing Committee explained and accepted the opinions of National Assembly deputies on the dismissal of the member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc explains and accepts the opinions of National Assembly deputies on approving the dismissal of the Minister of Health. After that, the dismissed person will express his opinion (if any).

The National Assembly established a Counting Committee and conducted the dismissal by secret ballot.

After counting the votes, the Counting Committee announced the results of the vote to dismiss the above-mentioned personnel.

In the next step, the National Assembly will discuss and vote to pass a Resolution on the dismissal of a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee; and discuss and vote to pass a Resolution approving the dismissal of the Minister of Health./.
