The National Assembly worked all day on Saturday to discuss many very important contents according to the first session's agenda.
Regarding personnel work, after the National Assembly Standing Committee presents the nomination list for the National Assembly to elect the President for the new term, delegates will discuss it in groups.
On Monday morning (July 26), the National Assembly Standing Committee reported the results of discussions at the delegation level and explained and accepted the opinions of National Assembly deputies on the expected personnel to elect the President.

The National Assembly discussed and voted to approve the list to elect the President using the electronic voting system before holding a secret ballot to elect this position. The President of the 15th National Assembly will be sworn in immediately afterwards.
Also today, the National Assembly worked in the hall, listening to the presentation on the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period; the report on thrift practice and waste prevention in 2020 and the verification reports on these contents.
Delegates will discuss in groups the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period; approve the 2019 State budget settlement and the work of practicing thrift and fighting waste in 2020./.
