Quy Hop organizes culinary contest to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day
(Baonghean.vn) - On June 24, the People's Committee of Quy Hop district organized a cooking contest to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day, June 28.
With the theme "Warm and loving family meal", 21 families from 21 communes and towns in the district participated. Each commune selected a family of 3 members to participate.

21 trays of food from 21 families representing 21 communes and towns with strong national cultural identity are local products such as: moc hon, grilled fish, sour meat, naturally fermented sour fish, dried buffalo meat, wild bamboo shoots, mot mot may soup, bitter bamboo shoots, moss, various types of buffalo horn cakes, banh chung, lam rice and many mixed dishes between Kinh and Thai people creating novelty, attractiveness and very eye-catching.

At the end of the contest, the jury awarded the first prize to the family in Chau Dinh commune, 2 second prizes to the families in Chau Thanh and Tam Hop. 3 third prizes to the families in Yen Hop, Nghia Xuan and Chau Quang communes.
