The Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial Political School has 62 party members, under the leadership of a committee of 7 comrades. In the 2015 - 2020 term, on the basis of closely following the functions and tasks; especially the resolutions and directives of the Party related to training and fostering work and the direct guidance of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Provincial Political School have strongly and comprehensively innovated the activities of training, fostering cadres, and scientific research with many outstanding results.

According to comrade Ngo Ba Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, the first highlight is that the school has done a good job of advising the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, issuing many important documents related to the training and fostering of cadres. Along with that, the Party Committee and the Party Committee of the school have led the innovation of training and fostering of political theory; built a scientific training and fostering plan that is both suitable for the situation of the province and ensures the school's ability to respond, especially in terms of resources.

In addition to intermediate political theory training, the school has coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to open many advanced political theory training classes, knowledge updating training classes, training according to cadre titles, leadership and management positions according to the requirements of agencies, units, and mass organizations... In coordination with the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, 2 training classes were opened for cadres planning for members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 terms.

Along with expanding the scale and diversifying the types of training and fostering, the school also innovates and is flexible in the form, content and training methods; harmoniously combines the opening of concentrated and non-concentrated training classes, outside of working hours to meet the training and fostering needs of cadres, agencies and units; trains and fosters knowledge and theory, increases the content of practical knowledge, trains and practices skills, expertise and working methods for cadres, civil servants and public employees; innovates the form of organizing exam review and evaluating training results seriously, substantially and objectively, contributing to improving the quality of training and fostering cadres.

Another highlight in the 2015 - 2020 term is that the Party Committee has led and directed the improvement of the quality of scientific research activities and summarized practices. Focusing on the management, inspection, evaluation and appraisal of the quality of scientific products, enhancing the application of information technology, bringing scientific activities into greater depth, practicality and specialization.

Along with research, the school also pays attention to information and documentation work by publishing many quality publications, such as the annual Theoretical and Practical Information journal; scientific topic proceedings; conference proceedings; scientific activity columns, rich and diverse theoretical information on the school's website... Thereby, creating an important and useful source of documents and research information for the school's staff, lecturers and students.

In particular, during the term, the school proactively advised and coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to organize many provincial and international scientific conferences with high theoretical and practical scientific values, creating a strong impression and great influence, enhancing the position of the school and the province.

In 5 years, Nghe An Provincial Political School has completed research on 25 school-level scientific topics and projects; 4 provincial-level topics and projects, many of which have been applied and effectively served the political tasks of the school and the province.

Determined to build a standard school

The achievements in the 2015 - 2020 term have affirmed the strong rise, efforts to overcome difficulties, determination to innovate and create of the school's staff and lecturers to complete many important tasks with high efficiency and quality. In particular, the successful organization of a number of national and international seminars has truly spread and enhanced the position of Nghe An Provincial Political School in the system of political schools nationwide.

To achieve the above results, according to comrade Ngo Ba Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee, during the term, the School Party Committee focused on leading the building of a team of cadres and lecturers with qualifications, capacity and qualities, meeting the requirements of performing the school's political tasks.

Currently, the school has 2 PhDs and 5 postgraduates; 45 masters (accounting for 95.74% of the teaching staff); 30 people with advanced political theory qualifications; 43 lecturers trained in active teaching methods organized by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics... There are 3 lecturers participating and all have achieved the title of excellent lecturers, including 2 lecturers achieving excellent results at the Academy-level Excellent Lecturer Competition.

The Party Committee also focuses on building collective solidarity, first of all, high consensus and unity within the Party Committee Executive Committee and between the Party Committee and professional and political organizations in the school; promoting collective intelligence, properly implementing the principle of "collective leadership, individual responsibility" in carrying out political tasks. Promoting democracy within the Party and in the school; promoting the exemplary responsibility of cadres and Party members and strengthening discipline and administrative discipline...

Sharing about the school's development orientation and goals for the 2020 - 2025 term, comrade Le Thi Hoai Chung - Principal of Nghe An Provincial Political School emphasized: With a long tradition of nearly 75 years of construction and development; at the same time, facing the requirements of innovation in political and ideological education, improving revolutionary ethics and training, fostering and updating knowledge for cadres, party members and the young generation; entering the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Nghe An Provincial Political School are determined to continue to innovate, create, improve the quality of school activities, and build a school to meet new requirements.
