Launching digital banking application with more than 50 utilities on mobile phones in Nghe An

Speaking at the ViettelPay opening ceremony, Major Nguyen Hung Cuong - Deputy Director of Viettel Nghe An emphasized: ViettelPay was built and developed based on the foundation of more than 50 million subscribers using Viettel's telecommunications services nationwide, a large transaction channel system with 12,000 agents, points of sale, 2,000 direct stores, stores, official post offices and 15,000 consultants nationwide.

With experience in implementing payment and collection services in coordination with strategic partners in the fields of electricity, water, finance and insurance, in 2018, Viettel Military Industry and Telecommunications Group launched ViettelPay application with the desire to popularize electronic financial services to the people.

With more than 50 utilities, ViettelPay supports customers to perform financial transactions such as: interbank money transfer, paying electricity and water bills, recharging phones, buying airline tickets, booking hotels, tours... through mobile phones using SIM cards of network operators, easily and quickly (without needing a bank account).

ViettelPay has outstanding advantages such as: Friendly interface, simple registration, free registration and account maintenance fees, free interbank money transfer, discount up to 6% when recharging phone.

Users can easily deposit cash at 100,000 transaction points nationwide, or use ATM cards from more than 30 banks, through internet banking of all domestic banks in Vietnam. By registering for ViettelPay, customers can make free payments at more than 100,000 Viettel transaction points nationwide.
