Dramatic chase in boat racing festival on Dieu Oc lake
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 6, on Dieu Oc Lake in Phuc Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, a traditional boat racing festival took place, attracting a large number of locals and tourists to watch and cheer.

This year’s boat racing festival had 18 teams from hamlets in Phuc Thanh commune. After the qualifying round, only 8 teams entered the finals. |

According to the rules, each racing boat has 12 people, including 1 “captain”, 1 stern steersman and 10 “rowers”. Some young women also participate as “captains”. |

| After the starting signal, the swimmers rowed their boats with all their might, competing fiercely. To win the race, in addition to health and technique, team members need to coordinate well and harmoniously. |

For racing boats, the most difficult part of the race is steering the boat around the finish line flag to continue the return leg. Quick, precise turns will give you more opportunities in the sprint. |
