On the morning of February 2, there was 1 new case of Covid-19 in the community in Hai Duong.
The National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control announced that there was one new case of Covid-19 in the community recorded in Hai Duong. Vietnam currently has 1,851 patients.
Number of cases in Vietnam:
- As of 6am on February 2: Vietnam has a total of 964 casesCovid-19due to domestic infections, of which the number of new cases from January 27 to now: 271 cases.
- From 6:00 p.m. on February 1 to 6:00 a.m. on February 2: 01 new case, including 0 imported cases that were quarantined immediately.

CASE 1851 (BN1851): male, 44 years old, residing in Lai Cach town, Cam Giang district, Hai Duong city.
On January 31, 2021, the patient developed symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat and was examined at Hai Duong Provincial General Hospital, where samples were taken for testing.
Test results on February 1, 2021 showed the patient was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus. The patient is currently being isolated and treated at Hai Duong Provincial General Hospital.
Epidemiological information is still under investigation.
