On the morning of August 20, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Nghe An informed: In the past 12 hours (from 6:00 p.m. on August 19 to 6:00 a.m. on August 20),Nghe Anrecorded 34 new positive patients withCovid-19.

1. Patient LCN, male, born in 2002.Occupation: Student of class CK14A1, Vietnam - Korea College. Address: Quynh Thien, Hoang Mai Town. On August 16, the patient returned to Hoang Mai Town from Vinh City and went to the Health Station to make a medical declaration, then was instructed to quarantine at home. On August 19, upon receiving information that a student of Vietnam - Korea College tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus, the patient went to the Health Station to make a further declaration and had samples taken for rapid testing twice and was positive. The patient was then quarantined at the Health Station and had samples taken for testing (XN) and sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital. On the evening of August 19, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

2. Patient NTT, female, born in 1974.Address: Quynh Thien, Hoang Mai Town. The patient is F1 and the mother of the LCC patient announced at the same time. On August 19, the patient was quarantined at Quynh Thien Medical Center and had her sample taken for rapid testing twice and was positive. Then, the sample was taken and sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital. On the evening of August 19, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

3. Patient NTHM, female, born in 1967.Occupation: Meat seller at wholesale market. Address: Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City. The patient sold meat at Vinh wholesale market. On August 14, he was screened and tested negative. On August 19, he went to Thai An General Hospital for a rapid test and the result was positive. A sample was then taken and sent to CDC. On the evening of August 19, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

4. Patient NTL, female, born in 1954.Address: Ha Huy Tap, Vinh City. Occupation: Meat seller at Quang Trung market. On August 16, upon hearing that Quang Trung market had a case positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus, the patient went to the Ha Huy Tap Ward Health Station to make a medical declaration and was instructed to self-isolate at home. On August 19, the patient went to Cua Dong General Hospital for testing, and on the evening of August 19, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

5. Patient N.D.T, male, born in 1950.Occupation: Freelance. Address: Ha Huy Tap, Vinh City. The patient is F1 and is the husband of patient NTL who was announced at the same time. On August 19, the patient went to Cua Dong General Hospital for testing, and on the evening of August 19, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

6. Patient D.VS, male, born in 1960.Occupation: Meat seller at Quang Trung market. Address: Hung Binh, Vinh city. On August 16, the patient was sampled at Quang Trung market and the result was negative. On August 19, the patient went to Vinh City General Hospital for two rapid tests and the result was positive, then the sample was sent to CDC. On the evening of August 19, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

7. Patient LXT, male, born in 1964.Address: Nghi Phong, Nghi Loc. The patient is F1 and is the husband of patient TTH who was previously announced. On August 16, the patient was quarantined and the first test sample was taken and the result was negative. On August 19, the patient's second test sample was sent to CDC, and on the evening of August 19, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

8. Patient NVH, male, born in 2002.Occupation: Student at Vietnam - Korea College. Address: Cong Thanh, Yen Thanh. On August 16, the patient returned from Vinh City to Yen Thanh and went to the medical station to make a medical declaration, then was instructed to quarantine at home. On the evening of August 18, the patient took a sample for a rapid test twice and it was positive, then was quarantined at Cong Thanh Primary School and had a sample taken for testing and sent to the CDC. On the evening of August 19, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

9. Patient VTS, female, born in 1981.Occupation: worker. Address: Do Thanh, Yen Thanh. The patient is F1 of the previously announced PTP patient. On August 19, the patient was quarantined at Do Thanh Kindergarten and had samples taken for testing and sent to the CDC. On the evening of August 19, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

10.Patient TYB, female, born in 2003Address: Tri Le, Que Phong. The patient is F1 and is the wife of the previously announced patient LBL. On August 2, the patient returned from Dong Nai to Que Phong. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding High School. The patient was tested 6 times. The 6th test result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

11. Patient VVL, male, born in 1988.Address: Tri Le, Que Phong. The patient is F1 of the previously announced LVQ patient. On August 2, the patient returned to Que Phong from Binh Duong and was quarantined at Tri Le Boarding High School. The patient was sampled 5 times, the 5th time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

12. Patient PTS, male, born in 2017.Address: Dien Yen, Dien Chau. The patient is F1 of the previously announced patient NTL. On August 19, the patient was quarantined at the Dien Chau District Vocational Training School and had a sample taken and sent to Nghe An General Hospital. On the evening of August 19, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

13. PTMD patient, female, born in 2015.Address: Dien Yen, Dien Chau. The patient is F1 of the previously announced patient NTL. On August 19, the patient was quarantined at the Dien Chau District Vocational Training School and had a sample taken and sent to Nghe An General Hospital. On the evening of August 19, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

14. Patient LTBT, female, born in 2011.Address: Dien Yen, Dien Chau. The patient is F1 of the previously announced patient NTL. On August 19, the patient was quarantined at the Dien Chau District Vocational Training School and had a sample taken and sent to Nghe An General Hospital. On the evening of August 19, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

15. BN LGB, male, born in 2015.Address: Dien Yen, Dien Chau. The patient is F1 of the previously announced patient NTL. On August 19, the patient was quarantined at the Dien Chau District Vocational Training School and had a sample taken and sent to Nghe An General Hospital. On the evening of August 19, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

22. Patient TNT, male, born in 2000.Address: Dien Nguyen, Dien Chau. On August 14, the patient returned from Binh Duong to Dien Chau. Immediately after arriving in the locality, the patient was quarantined at Dien Nguyen Kindergarten and had samples taken for testing 3 times, the third time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

23. Patient TVC, male, born in 2004.Address: Trung Phuc Cuong, Nam Dan. The patient is F1 of the previously announced patient NTT. On August 19, the patient was quarantined at the People's Committee of the old Nam Cuong commune and had samples taken for testing. On the evening of August 19, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

24. Patient LTTN, Female, born in 2017.Address: Xuan Hoa, Nam Dan. The patient is F1 of the previously announced LVQ patient. On August 16, the patient was quarantined at Xuan Hoa Kindergarten and the first sample was taken and the result was negative. On August 19, the patient was sampled and tested again. On the evening of August 19, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

25. Patient LVQ, male, born in 2012.Address: Xuan Hoa, Nam Dan. The patient is F1 of the previously announced LVQ patient. On August 16, the patient was quarantined at Xuan Hoa Kindergarten and the first sample was taken and the result was negative. On August 19, the patient was sampled and tested again. On the evening of August 19, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

26. Patient D.TP, female, born in 1960.Address: Nam Dan Town, Nam Dan. The patient is F1 of the previously announced LVQ patient. On August 16, the patient was quarantined at the town's Health Station and the first sample was taken and the result was negative. On August 19, the patient was sampled and tested again. On the evening of August 19, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

27. Patient LVD, male, born in 2002.Address: Hong Thanh, Yen Thanh. The patient is F1 of the previously announced patient HVT. On August 16, the patient returned to Yen Thanh from Vinh City. On August 19, the patient was quarantined at Hong Thanh Kindergarten and had a sample taken for testing. On the evening of August 19, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

28. Patient LVĐ, male, born in 1997.Address: Bac Son, Quy Hop. On August 2, the patient returned from Binh Duong to Quy Hop. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was quarantined at Chau Son Primary School and had samples taken for testing 4 times. The 4th test result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

29. Patient N.D.P, male, born in 2011.Address: Dien Thinh, Dien Chau. The patient is F1 and is the child of patient N.D.T who was previously announced. On August 9, the patient returned to Nghe An from Ho Chi Minh City, was quarantined at Vinh University, campus 2 and had samples taken 4 times, the 4th time the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

30. Patient L.D.T, male, born in 1989.Address: Vinh Tan, Vinh City. Patient history: The patient went to Hoa Tuan beer bar during the time frame of F0 patient. On August 14, the patient made a medical declaration at the Medical Station and was instructed to quarantine at home. On August 14, the patient went to Cua Dong General Hospital for testing with negative results. On August 19, MEDLATECH Center staff was called to the house to collect samples for testing, then sent the samples to CDC. On the morning of August 20, the results confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

31. PTKT patient, female, born in 2010.Address: Quynh Loc, Hoang Mai Town. On August 18, the patient and his family returned from Binh Duong to Hoang Mai Town. Immediately after returning to the locality, the patient was taken by his family to the Medical Station to declare and was quarantined at Quynh Loc Kindergarten, Hamlet 8, and the first sample was taken and the result was negative. On the afternoon of August 19, the patient had a fever and was tested twice and the rapid test was positive, then the sample was taken and sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital. On the morning of August 20, the result was confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

32. Patient TTS, female, born in 1980.Address: Cong Thanh, Yen Thanh. The patient had a history of contact with students of the Vietnam - Korea College. On August 19, the patient was quarantined at Cong Thanh Primary School and had samples taken for testing and sent to the CDC. On the morning of August 20, the results confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

33. Patient NTY, male, born in 1970.Address: Cong Thanh, Yen Thanh. The patient had a history of contact with students of the Vietnam - Korea College. On August 19, the patient was quarantined at Cong Thanh Primary School and had samples taken for testing and sent to the CDC. On the morning of August 20, the results confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

34. PTKD patient, female, born in 2012.Address: Cong Thanh, Yen Thanh. The patient had a history of contact with students of the Vietnam - Korea College. On August 19, the patient was quarantined at Cong Thanh Primary School and had samples taken for testing and sent to the CDC. On the morning of August 20, the results confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
