Among the critically ill patients, the oldest is 88 years old. She has a brain hemorrhage, high blood pressure, diabetes, aortic valve regurgitation, and is weak. She is currently on a ventilator, has no fever, is clinically stable, and has no other organ failure.

The aunt of "Case 17" has finished ECMO intervention (extracorporeal circulation system), only remaining on ventilator and blood filtration. She has underlying disease of vestibular disorder. She is the only Covid-19 patient in our country to have had to undergo ECMO intervention. After many days of persistent treatment, coordinated consultation with leading experts and doctors at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, her health has improved. Notably, she tested negative for nCoV three times in a row on March 26, March 27 and March 29.

Three other critically ill patients have been taken off ventilators for several days and are practicing breathing exercises. They have tested negative for the virus multiple times.

Of the 240 patients, 149 returned from abroad, accounting for 62.1%; 91 people were infected with secondary infections, including 61 people from domestic outbreaks such as those related to Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi, Buddha Bar in Ho Chi Minh City, and "case 34" in Binh Thuan...
