This morning, the 15th National Assembly opened an extraordinary session to consider and decide on urgent and necessary issues.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 5, the 15th National Assembly solemnly opened the 2nd extraordinary session at the National Assembly House, Hanoi. This is the second time the National Assembly has held an extraordinary session to promptly consider and decide on urgent issues to meet the country's development requirements.
The Nghe An National Assembly Delegation, term XV, consists of 13 delegates, including 6 delegates working at central agencies and 7 delegates residing and working in Nghe An, led by comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

At this session, the National Assembly will carry out personnel work within its authority; at the same time, consider and approve the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment (amended) and important resolutions such as: National Master Plan for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050; continue to implement a number of policies related to the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic in Resolution 30 and allow the continued use of drug and pharmaceutical ingredient circulation registration certificates that have expired from January 1, 2023 and have not been renewed in accordance with the provisions of the Pharmacy Law.
The National Assembly will also consider and decide on a number of financial and budgetary issues (including adjusting the budget estimates for unused operating expenses in 2021 of the General Department of Taxation and the General Department of Customs; supplementing the State budget estimates for foreign non-refundable aid (regular expenditure) in 2021; adjusting the 2022 re-lending capital plan of localities).
Pursuant to Clause 2, Article 90 and Clause 1, Article 92 of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly, at the request of the Prime Minister, after careful and thorough consideration of the aspects and contents of the preparations submitted by the Government, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly has agreed to convene the 2nd Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly. At this session, the National Assembly will convene at the National Assembly House, hold a preparatory session on the afternoon of January 4, 2023 and open on the morning of January 5, 2023, and is expected to close on January 9, 2023.
