About to build Hieu 2 Bridge worth 213 billion VND

(Baonghean.vn) -Hieu 2 Bridge and the road at both ends of the bridge in Thai Hoa Town were approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province to be invested in the form of a build-transfer (BT) contract worth 213 billion VND, starting construction on August 17.

The project construction site is in 3 wards: Long Son, Hoa Hieu, Quang Tien and Tay Hieu commune. Hieu 2 bridge is located about 800m downstream from the current Hieu bridge; according to the design, the total length of the bridge and the roads at both ends of the bridge is 997.57m; the width of the bridge is 17m and each side has a lane for pedestrians.

The project is of great significance in connecting the main road of the central region of Thai Hoa, avoiding the current monopoly of Hieu Bridge. At the same time, it is the main driving force in terms of transport infrastructure for the implementation of the general economic development plans of Nghe An province.

Cienco4 Group Joint Stock Company is the only unit participating in the bidding and winning the bid; the construction time of Hieu 2 bridge is 2 years from the commencement date.
