(Baonghean.vn)- 6 gamblers were engrossed in shaking the dice at noon when the authorities raided and arrested them along with the homeowner. They seized 10.48 million VND, 02 motorbikes and 01 tool used for shaking the dice.

On October 21, the Investigation Police Agency (Nghi Loc District Police) announced that the unit had initiated a case and prosecuted 7 suspects: Le Van Thai (born 1978); Dang Huu Dinh (born 1976); Nguyen Van Tai (born 1975); Nguyen Thanh Binh (born 1978); Thai Viet Chau (born 1988); Tran Xuan Khoi (born 1970), all residing in Nghi Van Commune, Nghi Loc District, and Nguyen Van Ninh (born 1971), residing in Hamlet 10, Nghi Kim Commune, Vinh City, for gambling.

Previously, at around 11:30 a.m. on October 11, the Criminal Investigation Police Team (Nghi Loc District Police) coordinated with Nghi Van Commune Police to patrol in Hamlet 8, Nghi Van Commune and discovered that at Nguyen Thanh Binh's house, many people were gambling.

The authorities raided and arrested the subjects: Le Van Thai, Dang Huu Dinh, Nguyen Van Tai, Nguyen Van Ninh, Tran Xuan Khoi, Thai Viet Chau who were engrossed in gambling with dice. The homeowner Nguyen Thanh Binh, who assisted the gamblers, was also arrested.

The seized items included: 10.48 million VND, 02 motorbikes used by the subjects as collateral for gambling and 01 set of gambling tools in the form of shaking dice. Among the 7 subjects, Thai Viet Chau has just completed a 5-month prison sentence for gambling.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency (Nghi Loc District Police) is completing the case file to prosecute the subjects according to the provisions of law.
