However, in October 2019, the weather was erratic and rainy, so Vinh City's night market could only operate for 16 days, the remaining days had to be postponed.
In a recent meeting to review the night street's experience after 1 month of operation, Vinh City People's Committee pointed out the limitations that need to be overcome; especially ensuring environmental sanitation, the electricity system serving shops, encroaching on sidewalks for business, parking, selling the right products...
Vinh City People's Committee will conduct inspections and reviews of registered stalls that are not in business or registered but are selling the wrong products. These stalls will be revoked and processed, and re-auctioned to households with real business needs to ensure order and civilization for the night street.

According to a survey, there are 10 stores in Cao Thang night street that do not sell the permitted products, mainly concentrated in food stalls. In response to the garbage overload, Vinh City will install more trash bins, educate people not to litter, and direct sanitation workers to clean up after business hours.
According to residents, the above-ground electrical wires, especially in the dining area, can pose a risk to visitors and kiosk owners during their business operations. Vinh City will install an overhead electrical system to ensure the safety of residents and visitors.

The most difficult problem is the arrangement of parking lots for tourists, because in reality, the basement parking lot of Vinh market is planned to be located at the end of the street, so very few visitors come to park. Meanwhile, if parking at the beginning of Cao Thang street is banned, the number of visitors to the night market will also decrease significantly.
Therefore, Vinh City is currently proposing to the Provincial People's Committee to allow the use of part of the sidewalk on Tran Phu and Phan Dinh Phung streets as a parking lot, provided that it does not violate the permitted boundaries and that there will be a force to strictly control the ticket prices. Households registering to park their vehicles must ensure the requirements and have a clear background.
