Lightning struck a woman in Nghe An, tragically killing her on her way home from the fields.
(Baonghean.vn) - While leading a cow pulling a cart on the way home, a woman in Xuan Tuong commune, Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An) was struck by lightning and died.
Mr. Nguyen Phung Hoa - Chairman of Xuan Tuong Commune People's Committee said: A tragic lightning strike just occurred in the area, causing the death of a woman. The victim was Ms. Nguyen Thi Khuong (63 years old), residing in Hamlet 8.

Accordingly, at around 6:00 p.m. on August 5, Ms. Khuong was leading a cart of cows on the way back from weeding corn on the Lam River bank when lightning struck both her and the cow.
When the authorities of Xuan Tuong commune arrived at the scene to provide emergency aid, Ms. Khuong had already died. Her family has now taken her body home to prepare for burial./.
