Lightning struck a woman in Nghe An, tragically killing her on her way home from work.
(Baonghean.vn) - While leading a cart home, a woman in Xuan Tuong commune, Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An) was struck and killed by lightning.
Mr. Nguyen Phung Hoa - Chairman of Xuan Tuong Commune People's Committee said: A tragic lightning strike just occurred in the area, killing a woman. The victim was Mrs. Nguyen Thi Khuong (63 years old), residing in Hamlet 8.

Accordingly, at around 6:00 p.m. on August 5, Ms. Khuong was leading a cart of cows on the way back from weeding corn on the Lam River bank when lightning struck both her and the cow.
When the authorities of Xuan Tuong commune arrived at the scene to provide emergency aid, Ms. Khuong had already died. Her family has now brought her body home to prepare for burial./.
