Slovakia will spend nearly 100 billion VND on urban lighting project in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 25, the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the Slovakia - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce to discuss the Project to build a public lighting system in Vinh city, Cua Lo town and Hoang Mai town using LED technology.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy introduced the general characteristics, potentials and advantages of Nghe An province. In particular, Nghe An has just successfully organized the Spring Investment Promotion Conference 2019. This has been an annual activity of the province for over 10 years, creating many important impressions for large domestic and foreign enterprises, demonstrating Nghe An's interest in seeking new opportunities and improving the investment attraction environment.
Evaluating the project of the Slovakian Chamber of Commerce on building a public lighting system on 3 routes: Vinh City, Cua Lo Town, Hoang Mai Town using LED technology, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy said that building a lighting system in the above-mentioned large urban centers is very necessary, bringing many conveniences to the people, as well as changing the appearance of the area.

Thanking the leaders of Nghe An province for their warm welcome, Deputy Ambassador of the Slovak Republic Bruno Hromy emphasized the 50-year history of relations between Vietnam and Slovakia. Over the past time, many Vietnamese enterprises and citizens in Slovakia have helped this country build and develop its socio-economy. Therefore, the Deputy Ambassador affirmed that this visit and working session in Nghe An is a testament to the absolute support of the Slovak Government for Nghe An; at the same time, he expressed his hope that the project will be successfully implemented, thereby opening up many other cooperation opportunities and connecting many new projects in the future.
Discussing the financial investment mechanism, the representative of the project implementing unit - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Stroje Company Juraj Vasek said that the initial financial resources will be mobilized and supported by banks in Europe. In the localities where the project is implemented, the project will provide 100% of the capital. Mr. Jurai Vasek affirmed that after the project is signed, Stroje Company will connect and bring into the project trusted and capable partners to implement the project with the company. Stroje Company expressed its hope to work together with Nghe An province and soon successfully implement this project.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy requested that localities selected to pilot the project connect and coordinate with investors to thoroughly study three key factors: financial mechanism, operational management and post-investment capital repayment mechanism.
In addition, comrade Thai Thanh Quy suggested that investors make specific plans, review and correctly assess the current situation and investment needs of each locality, to come up with the most optimal solutions.
The project to build a public lighting system in Vinh City, Cua Lo Town, Hoang Mai Town using LED lights has a total estimated investment of 97 billion VND.
