The application of software based on measuring labor productivity (shifts and labor consumption) has helped the company monitor and manage closely. Data from 71 stores will be automatically transferred to the company office for the office to control and calculate salaries, control between shifts, creating internal competition. At the same time, control sales flow (selling to cars or motorbikes). This model also helps company leaders manage the sales volume and income of the company's store system.

In addition, Nghe An Petroleum Company also has more than 200 main agents for trading and receiving goods. For management purposes, the company also uses an automated system to control tanks, export cars, tanks, and ships; the Agas system places orders when prices change, automatically notifies stores; the enterprise resource planning system (SAP ERP), and operates through an electronic office.

Mr. Vo Anh Tuan - Deputy Director of Nghe An Petroleum Company said: "Previously, to manage human resources, salaries, and warehouses, we had to go through many steps, manual procedures were costly, and prone to errors, but the application of information technology has helped the company manage clearly, transparently, reduce costs, save time, human resources, increase labor productivity, and revenue of more than 5,000 billion VND/year. At the same time, the application of technology brings about multi-dimensional exploitation efficiency within and outside the enterprise."

As for Hoa Sen Service Company Limited, with the business line of human products - providing security services for domestic and foreign agencies, enterprises and corporations with a large number of employees of 1,500 people and spread across 63 provinces and cities nationwide. To manage human resources, if following the traditional method, the company must have 10 people specializing in human resources but the efficiency is not high.

To solve this problem, the company used human resource management software. Through the software, company leaders can manage detailed updates of legal records, labor contracts, number of employees working, leave, etc. without having to store paper records as before and only need 1 person to do human resource work. In addition, the company also uses business software, business management, customer care, etc.

By applying technology in management, the company has saved on stationery and salary costs. At the same time, it connects many customers and businesses at home and abroad, with high security, both raising the sense of responsibility of employees and contributing to creating a sustainable reputation and brand development for the company.

Using business management software is being promoted by many enterprises. After 1 year of applying IT in management and business, Nghe An Automobile Mechanical Joint Stock Company has achieved positive results. The software "Design, manufacture and application of electronic fuel injector testing equipment on passenger cars" of the unit, in addition to not having to buy equipment from abroad for 400 million VND, each month brings a profit of over 250 million VND to the enterprise, helping to reduce investment costs, increase aesthetics and specifications for products, help compete with other products on the market, increase profits, stabilize jobs, reduce working time and increase income for workers.

Promoting the role of each business

Therefore, more and more businesses are applying information technology solutions in company management, considering this a measure to increase competitiveness and maximize profits.

The program aims to promote the application of information technology in the management and operation of agencies and enterprises, introduce information security solutions, avoid damage caused by virus attacks, and at the same time, update new technology solutions, contributing to making the application of information technology more effective.

In Nghe An, the total number of registered businesses in the area is currently nearly 16,500. Through the survey, the application of information technology by businesses in the province is still very limited, only at the basic, small-scale level, lacking in comprehensiveness.

Enterprises have not paid enough attention to ensuring information safety and security, and have not invested properly in training and using information technology human resources. The application of information technology has not met actual needs. The budget for investment in information technology accounts for a very small proportion of business costs.

The application of IT is an inevitable trend of enterprises. In the context of globalization, our country is signing cooperation agreements with other countries, the application of IT plays an increasingly important role and enterprises cannot stand aside. That requires each enterprise to change and improve the ability to apply IT in production and business management.
