Currently, in Nghe An province, there are 73 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers still alive who have been called upon by the Provincial People's Committee and assigned to agencies, units and organizations to take care of and support them for life. The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs is honored to take care of and support mother Le Thi Nhan, born in 1942, whose husband (Nguyen Van Chat) and son (Nguyen The Thai) are martyrs.
Accordingly, each month the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs provides the mother with 1 million VND, which is raised from donations from officials, civil servants and workers.
The delegation visited to inquire about her health, encouraged her and expressed gratitude for her great sacrifices for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. The delegation also wished her to continue to live happily and healthily, always being a shining example for her children and grandchildren to follow.
Visiting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers is a very practical activity, an activity to show gratitude to families of policy beneficiaries and families with revolutionary contributions, thereby demonstrating the spirit of "When drinking water, remember its source", the affection and responsibility of cadres - civil servants - public employees towards the relatives of heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the cause of fighting to protect the Fatherland.
