Exciting street performance 'Homeland in Lotus Blooming Season' at Vinh walking street

On the evening of May 17, at Ho Tung Mau walking street (Vinh city), Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports solemnly opened the street performance festival "Homeland of Lotus Blooming Season", the photo exhibition "Ho Chi Minh - The most beautiful name" and summarized the 2024 Nghe An Province Lotus Village Singing Festival.

Attending the event were comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of leaders of a number of departments, branches, districts, cities, towns and mass art troupes.

These are activities within the Program.Lotus Village Festival2024 marks the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024), towards the 55th anniversary of the day Uncle Ho sent his last letter to the Party Executive Committee of Nghe An province, and 55 years of implementing his Testament.

In particular, the Street Performance Festival with the theme "Homeland in Lotus Blooming Season" was held in Vinh city's walking street, with the participation of nearly 1,000 artists, actors, artisans from 20 districts, cities, towns and dance troupes, dance groups bringing a vibrant atmosphere, with unique cultural features of the 6 ethnic groups of Nghe An province.

In addition, the photo exhibition "Ho Chi Minh - the most beautiful name" with nearly 200 photos and documents about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh contributes to helping the public, especially today's young generation, deeply understand the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the life, career, ideology, and morality of Ho Chi Minh, a shining example of noble qualities, a lifetime of sacrifice for the independence and freedom of the nation. The exhibition will be held from May 17 to 30 at Ho Chi Minh Square.
