Song Lam Nghe An signed a cooperation agreement with a club from Japan - Mito Hollyhock

Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Nishimura Takuro - General Director of Mito Hollyhock Club; Mr. Truong Manh Linh - General Director of Song Lam Nghe An Club.

Song Lam Nghe An is a club with a long tradition in Vietnamese football. Since the establishment of the V.League Professional Football Tournament, Song Lam Nghe An has won many championships and achieved many remarkable achievements. In addition, Nghe An Club is also known as the cradle of youth football training in the country. It has produced many great stars for national football.

From 2021, when the new sponsor Tan Long took over, Song Lam Nghe An wanted to aim for the club's sustainable development, in which youth training was the foundation. To successfully implement that strategy, Song Lam Nghe An Club found that Mito Hollyhock was a club with many similarities. In particular, although this club is only competing in the Japanese Second Division, it always focuses on youth football development. Over the years, Mito Hollyhock has produced many high-quality players, providing them to clubs competing in the J.League and the National Team. With the above highlights, Song Lam Nghe An decided to cooperate more deeply in the future with Mito Hollyhock.

At the signing ceremony, Mito Hollyhock committed to consulting and supporting the construction of a team management and administration system in the direction of improving the professional capacity of departments for Song Lam Nghe An. In the future, it will aim to help the Nghe An team complete the club's organizational structure according to the model of a Japanese football club, not only autonomous in the field of football expertise, but also independent in the ability to operate the team and attract and diversify sources of funding for the club.

Responding to the media at the signing ceremony, Mr. Truong Manh Linh - General Director of Song Lam Nghe An Club said: "Japanese football has many similarities with Vietnamese football. Specifically, some clubs we have, are and will cooperate with are at the same level as Song Lam Nghe An, so we can quickly adopt their way of doing football. When deciding to cooperate with Mito Hollyhock, we realized that the two sides have many similarities in club development strategies, such as focusing on youth training, the connection between the club and the locality, or the main sponsors for both teams are companies and corporations with agricultural colors typical of the two countries. Therefore, when signing with Mito Hollyhock, Song Lam Nghe An hopes to receive from its partner a more systematic way of managing and operating the club, both in terms of tradition and expertise. With this cooperation, I believe that Song Lam Nghe An will have strong development and more sustainable in the future, contributing to the overall development of the country's sports".
