Useful map for free wifi access at every airport
Soon, you'll be able to enjoy free wireless internet at any airport you visit, thanks to an interactive map that provides regular data on wifi passwords at most airports around the world.
This map is the brainchild of Anil Polat, a blogger and computer engineer who frequently travels by air.
Based on his own need to access wireless networks at airports, Anil Polat invested in developing a map of airports around the world with real-time updated wifi password data from contributions from many passengers around the world. Users can add new passwords, which are confirmed by the application administrator before being added to the map.
The map is called WiFox - in fact, this is an application built on the Google Maps application platform.

The map includes airport and lounge locations, network names and passwords, plus helpful tips — like which boarding gate is closest to the plane for the strongest network signal.
The app will also let users know if the Wi-Fi network in use has a time limit and whether the user can work with this Wi-Fi network.
Maps can be downloaded to the phone for offline use and will update when the user is connected to Wi-Fi.
To date, there are about 80 airports in the world listed on the map.
