Temporarily suspend the meeting of the Nam Can International Border Market
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the announcement of the People's Committee of Ky Son district, the Nam Can International Border Gate border market will temporarily suspend two meetings in December 2022 to serve political activities of Laos.
On December 6, the People's Committee of Ky Son district issued Notice No. 231/TB-UBND on the temporary suspension of border market activities at Nam Can International Border Gate (Ky Son).
Specifically, the Nam Can International Border Gate border markets will stop operating for two sessions on Sunday, December 11, 2022 and Sunday, December 18, 2022. The reason for stopping the market sessions is to allow Xieng Khouang province and Noong Het district of neighboring Laos to organize major political events.
The border markets at Nam Can International Border Gate will return to normal meetings after December 18, 2022, according to a fixed schedule on Sundays.

Nam Can International Border Gate Border Market (also known as Nam Can Border Market) is located on the border between Vietnam and Laos, about 20 km from Muong Xen town (Ky Son district), about 320 km from Vinh city.
