Criminal detention of the subject who did not obey orders and hit the traffic police of Vinh City to escape
(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh City Police (Nghe An) is temporarily detaining Phan Cong Doan (born 1982), residing in Le Loi Ward, Vinh City - the subject who did not obey orders, hit a traffic police officer to escape - to investigate and clarify the act of resisting people on duty.
Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on January 21, the working group of the Traffic Police - Order Team, Vinh City Police deployed forces to patrol, handle alcohol concentration violations and handle violations of order and traffic safety in the area of Km464+800, National Highway 1A (Tran Phu Street, Vinh City) and discovered a red car with license plate 37K-270.92 moving on the road, showing signs of alcohol concentration violation.
When the car was approaching the checkpoint, Captain Nguyen Minh Thong used his baton, lights, and horn to signal the car to slow down and guide it into the alcohol testing lane. However, the driver did not comply with the command, reversed the car, then turned around and went in the opposite direction, in order to avoid the authorities. Notably, when the task force approached and continued to signal the car to stop, the driver did not stop.drove straight into the working group member.

When the car fled to Chu Van An Street (Vinh City), it was stopped by the Traffic Police - Order of Vinh City Police, arrested and brought to Vinh City Police headquarters to make a record, arrest the offender red-handed for the act of resisting a person on duty, to be strictly handled according to the provisions of law.
The driver of the car was identified as Phan Cong Doan. Through alcohol testing, the Traffic Police determined that driver Phan Cong Doan violated the level of 0.399 mg/breath.
The case is being further investigated and strictly handled according to the provisions of law.
