Using professional measures, the Criminal Police Department struggled to force Tran Hoang Quan to admit to the act of trading in prohibited goods (fireworks).
Tran Hoang Quan is a truck driver running from Vinh City to Da Nang City. At around 5:00 a.m. on September 14, 2021, Quan drove his car to the Song intersection area, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province (in the direction from the South to Nghe An Province). Here, Quan met and bought 42 boxes of firecrackers from an unknown man for 21 million VND. After receiving the goods, Quan drove his car back to Vinh City via the bypass.

When arriving at the intersection between the bypass and Pham Hong Thai Street, Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City, the subject discovered the Traffic Police force so he drove his car onto Pham Hong Thai Street, however, he was stopped and arrested immediately afterwards.
On the morning of September 15, 2021, the Criminal Police Department coordinated with functional units to unseal 42 boxes of fireworks seized from the subject and determined that they weighed 70.3 kg. The above fireworks were placed in cardboard boxes along with tires and electronic devices.
The Criminal Police Department is continuing to investigate.
