Detained group of suspects who cut off ears and assaulted 16-year-old girl
Phan Thi Cam Hang admitted to organizing the assassination and causing injuries to a 16-year-old girl, shocking public opinion.
On the afternoon of April 3, Tan Binh District Police, Ho Chi Minh City, invited and detained 14 subjects to serve the investigation and clarify the case of 16-year-old girl Nguyen Thi Ngoc Truc (born 2001, residing in Tan Binh District) who had her ear cut off and was assaulted in Tan Binh District. In which, Phan Thi Cam Hang is believed to be the ringleader in the incident.

At the investigation agency, Hang and other suspects admitted that they had a conflict with Truc's group before, not because the young woman was "gossiping" about denouncing a member of Hang's group for selling a motorbike suspected of being stolen from Truc's friend.
Therefore, Hang and other suspects organized a hunt and caused injuries to Truc on the night of March 30 at the milk tea shop at the beginning of alley number 133 Ni Su Huynh Lien Street, Ward 10, Tan Binh District.
As reported, at around 8:00 p.m. on March 30, Truc and her sister (named Tu) went to a milk tea shop at the beginning of alley 133 on Ni Su Huynh Lien Street when Hang and a group of young men stormed into the shop and attacked them.
Here, Ms. Truc was controlled by young men while Hang used a knife to cut off her ear and slashed her face and legs many times. When Ms. Truc was unconscious, another young man used a chair to hit the victim on the head.

Seeing this, Truc's friend named Huy came to stop and protect the victim. After committing the crime, Hang's group left. The victims were taken to the emergency room by local people. Among them, Truc was seriously injured and was transferred to Cho Ray Hospital for treatment.
Doctor Ngo Van Hong - Head of the Ophthalmology Department of Cho Ray Hospital said that after examining the eyes, patient Nguyen Thi Ngoc Truc had hematoma, lateral hemorrhage in the right eye, and the left eye had a ruptured eyeball, torn superior retina, and hemorrhage.
