New 29-year-old General Director of Song Lam Nghe An Club

On the morning of June 2, the Board of Directors of Song Lam Nghe An Sports Joint Stock Company held a meeting with key members to thoroughly grasp some contents and at the same time reorganize the club's apparatus. This was the first meeting since Song Lam Nghe An Club had a new sponsor.
Accordingly, since June 1, Tan Long Group has officially taken over SLNA Football Club. Along with that, Song Lam Nghe An Sports Joint Stock Company is the new managing unit of SLNA Club, replacing the previous Song Lam Joint Stock Company.

Mr. Truong Sy Ba - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tan Long Group said that receiving SLNA Club is a chance but also a responsibility, a sacred mission of a son of Nghe An who loves his hometown football with the support and trust of Nghe An province leaders and local people.

“We wish to contribute to the overall development of Nghe An football in general and SLNA in particular in the Vietnamese football environment. As a new companion, sponsor and manager, we commit to ensuring and creating all conditions for SLNA Club to have the best preparation in all aspects, to compete confidently and achieve the best results in the matches that will be difficult but also full of hope ahead”, Mr. Truong Sy Ba shared.
Tan Long Group will also retain the name of Song Lam Nghe An Club, and officially introduce the new Board of Directors and Executive Board with Mr. Truong Sy Ba as the Club President. His son, Mr. Truong Manh Linh, will hold the position of General Director of Song Lam Nghe An Sports Joint Stock Company and Executive Director.

The new General Director is only 29 years old this year and studied abroad in Australia for many years.

Sharing about the plan right after taking over the club, the young owner of SLNA said that the brand of this club has been affirmed for decades. The Board of Directors determined that from now on, the fans will be the compass to guide the development of Nghe An's football potential. After the 3-year contract with mainstay striker Phan Van Duc took place on May 19, 2021, the new Board of Directors is promoting negotiations for new contracts with other players of the club. SLNA's immediate goal after joining the new sponsor is to successfully stay in the National Championship this year.

The new sponsor also promised to focus on investing in further improving youth training to maintain the top position in youth tournaments and train football talents for SLNA in particular and the whole country in general.

Mr. Truong Sy Ba is from Dien Ky commune (Dien Chau). He started his business in 2000 with a chemical trading company. A few years later, he switched to supplying raw materials for animal feed production. This businessman then expanded into the agricultural market.
